Most of his books’ insights relate to these missions and affairs of Germany as well as France treaties. Machiavelli was also involved in Gonfaloniere Soderini’s downfall. Machiavelli was charged for conspiracy, tortured and later pardoned. After these events, he decided to devote himself to literature after retiring from the public life.
