MAN FROM THE GRAVES:  (Examining him) you really have fat cheeks, young boy. Pip: No Sir, they once were when I was younger, but they are no more. from the graves: (Raising his voice) I would have eaten them!! You are lucky that I don’t have the thought to. (Fear grips the young boy as he really fights to hold back his tears. He had been pressed tightly against a gravestone which he embraced for dear life.  At that moment, his life flashed before him. He remembered that he had not quite figured how his parents looked like.

All he could imagine was how his father might have been. He probably would have been broad shouldered with dark curly hair. The markings on the grave had him thinking that his mother might have been fragile and sickly at the time of her death.)(The image of her sister came to mind. She was harsh and did not hesitate to confront anyone who got in her way, her husband included. Her looks were not smashing; she might have tricked her husband into marrying her. Joe, her husband, was a good looking man with a kind heart.

He was an easy going man who could have passed for a real gentleman. One could picture him as the legendary Hercules who was strong outside but weak in the inside.) (Swiftly he moves even closer to the boy and smashes him against the wall of the tomb. He takes up both his hands behind his back and tilts his head so that their eyes meet. He looks down at him in the most threatening.) MAN FROM THE GRAVES: (In an irritated tone) Bring me back those items tomorrow early in the morning, and that battery over there.

Do that and say no word to nobody. Make sure that you do not tell anyone about me because I promise to come for you if you do.
