of Lecturer 18 October The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership Looking at the first seven laws of John Maxwell’s The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership, I think I can actually pick one that is a relative strength for me and one that is a relative weakness. I have noticed that I have a great ability in one of the first seven laws by John Maxwell and what could be described as a disability in one of the first seven laws. The third law of, which is the Law of Process, is the one that I am confident that I have relative strength in.

I am this kind of person that I learn each passing day. I am never stagnant as I try as much as possible to develop myself. This has made me to spend my time studying and reading motivational books that has really expanded my horizon and changed my perspective about life. The Law of Process has been enacted in my life as I have learnt that life is a transformational phase as I have developed over time. Just like the world is not stagnant, my life has evolved over time and now I believe in the Law of Process.

The first law, which is the Law of the Lid is the one that I have found out that I am relatively weak in. The Law of the Lid as postulated by John Maxwell states that, one’s leadership ability is the lid that decides how effective one would be in the position of leadership (Maxwell). I have never been a leader before and this makes me feel that I don’t have any leadership quality. The Law of the Lid also postulates that, talented people would make effective leaders and I feel that I am not talented enough for the position of leadership.

This is actually a feeling and I would have to work on this weakness in order to increase my effectiveness in this regard. I would believe more in myself and I would have the I CAN attitude.
