The Shewhart charts are tools used to determine if a business or manufacturing process is, in statistical control. This was discovered by Walter A. Shewhart in the 1920s. Control charts are graphs used to study changes in processes over time. Question Two Indiana State University (ISU) is one of the best universities accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. From my experience in the university, I discovered that it applies to Deming’s 9th point.

This is because the university has made sure that all departments are interrelated and share the same vision of providing the best quality of education. This has benefited the university by making it one of the top universities in Indiana (4 International Colleges & Universities). Question Three An interview by two lecturers at the university under anonymity one of the Demings points that came out from both people as being applied in the university is adopting the new philosophy of continuous training of workers.

The university appreciates that, in the educational market, there is a need to keep track of knowledge. This is beneficial in making sure that lecturers give quality and up-to-date knowledge to students.
