I do believe that trade between countries and company may eventually take place through sites such as alibaba.com. The internet has made the cost of trading online much cheaper and effective compared to the traditional methods of foreign trade. The internet has also made trade appear closer for both the exporters and importers reducing the barriers imposed by distance (Daniels, Radenbaugh & Sullivan, 2012).

This has made it possible for small enterprises to conduct foreign trade. Personally, I am motivated and interested to venture into import and export transaction due to the increased array of possibilities offered by the internet.Question 5 Sites like alibaba.com make import and export transactions transparent by offering supplier information and catalogues (Alibaba.com, 2014). The sites post supplier information to potential buyers as well as conducting a background check on them. Other users of these sites also provide information on supplier reliability as well as references about suppliers.
