Team building Sonny’s car wash industry company for consultant has hired this team. As the team building consultant, thisgroup have several programs for the company. All these activities in the programs are geared towards team building between the team members of the company. The activities I have chosen, as the consultant manager is indoor rock climbing at the coral cliffs indoor rock climbing gym for the sake of team, buildings. On these activities, there are fifty people in groups of five with ten people in each group. In the group of ten individuals in each group, there are five people from manufacturing and five from the office. Individual group members are supposed to compete in each of these activities and there is a reward for the winners and the first runners up. The activities are supposed to take place during the weekend with all the participating group members meeting at the office for transportation to the identified location. Each of the group members is supposed to adorn a rock climbing attire of the specific color of the group. There are five different colors for each group to help distinguish each team member from the others. Rock climbing is an interesting venture where the group members have the opportunities for intense and even concentrated efforts to examine the accomplishments of the groups in their work operations (Luebben 232). It is essential in enabling the group members to improve on the aspects of teamwork in the organization thus enhancing total equality and total management of service, which is important in the organization. If employees collaborate in the work experiences, they are able to achieve the best results in enhancing customer satisfaction thus continued amassing of profits for the organization. Moreover, by each team members working together to overcome difficult obstacles in rock climbing, they are able to increase their self-confidence, respecting others, capabilities and an added commitment to the spirit of teamwork in the process of their work. Such members working together are able to understand that there are huddles that they cannot solve on their own despite their career advancements and experiences in such work situations. They require the help of others in the same field to enable them achieve better results within the stipulated time. They are able to appreciate the efforts of other despite how small since such efforts counts in the aspect of achieving high-end results in their work settings. The reason for this choice of location is that coral cliffs rock climbing gym is situated in a close proximity with the company. The gym has facilities for all levels of climbers with staff members providing professional instructions for beginners who are able to progress to lead such training climbers to routes that can test an expert. The gym has over 87-routes, which are top roped, 25 lead routes and others, which creates a variety for the team members (Bird 199). As a result, it is difficult for such members to get bored. Moreover, such routes are changed on a weekly basis adding to the fun and the creativity. The gym also has other Olympic benches, weights, and even dumbbells thus challenging individual’s flexibility, balance, and endurance. The gym always has a gear on sale. The atmosphere at coral cliffs is also relaxed with their constant changing varieties and challenges for individuals at the cliff. It is the best gateway for individuals who have never engaged in rock climbing before. This is because not all members of the groups have an experience in rock climbing. Therefore, the knowledgeable and ready to train staff will offer such group members instructional classes for all levels of skills. The choice of this location is therefore an excellent opportunity for the group members to bond and have fun at the same time. By working together as a team to reach the highest level of rock climbing, they are able to appreciate the spirit of teamwork and they can take this spirit to their work places thus achieving high-end results in their specific job expectations. To do enjoy themselves to the fullest without any setbacks, they have to come up with an affordable budget. They have to consider the tickets they purchase for this venture and the climbing gear equipment. They also have to consider their refreshments, snacks, lunch water, and any other thing they would wish to eat in the course of their stay there. For the tickets, 1-hour climb time per adult is $32. The company has reserved for four hours since most of them will have to undertake extra training before climbing. Thus (32×4) = 128. Thus, each member has to pay $128 for four climbing hours. Renting the whole climbing gear amounts to $10, for the whole package. The classes for each team member amounts to $45 per person. Thus, (45+10+128) =$183. Thus, each group member is supposed to pay $183 for four climbing hours, rental climbing gear and the lead climbing classes. For all members, the amount will be $183×50=$9150. For water, snacks, and refreshments, the company has to part with another $100 to ensure that it serves the requirement of each group member. Since the climbing session is scheduled from 9AM to 1PM, the company has to budget for the lunch of the members. Lunchtime is a good time to ensure that all members in all groups are able to bond further and share the experiences of the group. Since the best emerging team for the rock-climbing venture was scheduled to receive an award to increase their motivation, lunchtime is a perfect opportunity to give the rewards. The budgeted amount for the lunch of all group members is $3 per person amounting to $150 for all group members. The transportation cost for the group members is also in the budget amounting to $50. The group members are to be transported to the coral cliff using the company’s bus. The transportation amount in the budget is to cater for fuel. Thus, the whole amount is $9150+$100+$150+$50=$9450. It is important for the company to ensure that it issues the money to the team-building manager to ensure that the activities take place as planned. Works Cited Bird, Bryan. Zion climbing.
