Previously these wastes are diluted and discharged straight into the local river. But after the issuance of governmental environmental legislation this practice can no longer be accepted on the market. We are going to avail the services of a processing plot that is nearly situated to the plant and have the facility to render the waste harmless thereby allowing the continuing practice. This processing will cost implication of £100.000 pounds for the plant and a building would have to be fabricated to house this. We need to start this project and try to make this project easy to execute in away that the overall processing of system become easier. Here we to establish a team that will run the project in a way that we the completion of project can hold within time and cost. Initiation Analysis of the problem Here we have to initiate the project that is about taking the services of a processing plat that is nearly situated to the plant. Then we also need to construct a building that would be used for this processing to waste materials. Business case to include assessment of risk In this project we have to implement the project within time and cost limits. The biggest main concern is the issuance of governmental environmental legislation that has issued a date for the transformation of such type of wastes. Then we also have to meet the time line assumed by the organizational management. Next we also have to maintain the worker health and safety those are involved in this project, because these wastes are really dangerous. There is always danger of infection so we need to tackle this risk also. Three solutions First of all we need an experienced and well qualified human power in this way we would have the efficient execution of the project. Next we need to conduct a comprehensive market research for their better project cost and resource estimation. Then we have to collaborate with some chemical processing consultants, so that they can provide us a less costly and an easy solution for this project of wastes handling. Weighted matrix Now I will discuss the weighted matrix that lists the functional requirements of this project. There are two things in this Weighted Factor Scoring System: weights and Scores. Score: Score will help us in making the decision whether the product meets the confirmed requirement as they appraise the product. Weights: The weights help us in deciding the impudence each practical requirement to the companys on the whole business practices, policies, and procedures. Our team members and few other firm consultants were gathered. I have distributed the empty project functional requirement form and asked the members to give point to each requirement as viewing and deciding whether the product meets the stated requirement as they evaluate the product. There are five members in score allocations so I have also involved the five member’s team for the weight allocation. I will use the stack of scorecards for each product, one from each member of the evaluation team. I will give this stack to the weights team. They will transfer the scores from the paper scorecards to the spreadsheet template. They then apply the weights (score x weight) to create the weighted scores and calculate a total for each scorecard (the sum of all weighted scores). I have five people on our evaluation team; I will have five totals for each product on our short list. Average the all totals to obtain the products final score. The weight for every factor in the anchor was calculated by this formula: Weight(n) = Anchor Score(n) / Sum of [Anchor Score] Adjusted Score for the other dimensions calculated by below given formula Ajusted Score(n) = Weight(n) * Score(n) Each person on the team is given a chart to complete on their own. Each team member, in private, assigns a value to each empty cell in the table to indicate how well they think the feature on the left fulfills the business need or strategic goal at the top. The values are as follows: 5 = directly supports 4 = somewhat directly supports 3 = indirectly supports 2 = somewhat supports 1 = may support, not sure blank = no support Functional Requirements Weight Score Weight*Score Establishing standard working environment 3 3 9 Enabling wastes processing facility before development 4 3 12 Site preparing 2 3 6 Hiring efficient human resources 4 3 12 Need for a more dependable and efficient wastes processing system 4 4 16 Facilitating the efficient working environment 5 4 20 Constructing building for the better wastes processing facility 3 4 12 Conducting a wastes processing research 2 3 6 Minimizing the harmful nature of the cadmium and Chromium 3 4 12   From the above given method I can access the more priority based requirement. A feasibility study on your chosen solution The project phase of the chemical processing consultation will provide us an easy way for the better assessment of real danger we have and the main points those we need to follow for the better handling and management of this project. This study will offer us a better market acceptable solution. The process of the market research will provide us the benchmarks for the other companies who have adopted this type of project. so it is more feasible to the adopt these project phases for the better project execution and handling. Objectives Here we have main objectives those are aimed for the better and enhanced execution of this project. First of all we want to complete this project with in time limits. Here we also have to complete the project within the allocate budget plan so that the organization will not have any financial problems for this transformation. Next we have to implement the industry standards so that the governmental issued standards can be fulfilled. The main biggest objective in this project is about safe and harmless processing of the dangerous wastes material. Planning Gantt charts Here I have developed the Gantt chart of this project in the MS Project. Figure 1 Gannet chart Produce planning to cover resources human and physical, financial, risk and Change We have rigid financial constraints so we have to manage all the available resources in an efficient way, Such as we have to think about the human resources. This project demands only the qualified and experienced human resource for the efficient project handling and management. Here we will require consulting some better reputed processing company. They if we talk about the construction of building in this case we need to use the better material and construction design so that the new building can have a efficiently facilitate the new functionalities of the wastes processing. The efficient way to handle the risk in this project is involve strictly following of the project plan. This will facilitate the better project execution and management. Next we can handle the change in the project by incorporating the change management policy. We will develop the change management policy that will be helpful for the better for the ongoing project change handling. Execution The execution of this project involves a lot of deliverables, like we need the expert’s assistance for the overall wastes handling and processing. This will involve some formal training on the handling of the main plant’s processes. Then we need a project handling report that includes the overall project handling details and processing techniques. The machinery and building are the physical deliverable for this project. Next we also need to deliver the financial plan and details regarding the overall project expenses and cost details. This document will be also being helpful for the future financial assessments. Changes management policy is also one the main project deliverable for this project. This document will be helpful for the better project assessment and final approval. Project evaluation and closure The Project evaluation and closure engross the assessment of the overall project phases and final approval for the project closure. Here we will access the new processing plant’s functionality for the efficient wastes handing. This involve the assessment of the overall wastes management and level of there harmfulness. Next the project closure involve the financial and overall all resources assessment. This will ensure that all project is properly handled and management. Conclusion In this report I have presented the overall project management and execution details of the ROTHERHAM METALS wastes processing project. Here I have outlined all the main stages of the project and accessed all the main step those are necessary for overall project management. So concluding the whole discussion I want to say that the successful project always involves the efficient project plan. By following this plan we can be able to get success in the execution of each project. References 1. Peter W. G. Morris, (1994).
