This paper examines the case of labor force in mega projects of Saudi Arabia. The many mega projects being carried out in Saudi Arabia presents challenges both to the government and the private sector as they try to address the challenges of labor in these projects. About 80 years ago when the country came into power its means of living was through agriculture and pilgrimage revenues and its culture is dictated by the Muslim religion which is up to now the main religion. Saudi Arabia is home to Mecca and Medina; the holy cities of Muslims pilgrimages (Sink). In 1938 vast oil deposits were discovered. Oil deposits provided the country with the needed funds to transform its lifestyle. The transformation was witnessed by changes in infrastructure, governance and the education system.
