The paper "Labor Force Saudi Arabia for Mega Projects" is a perfect example of a management capstone project. An unprecedented era of trade is emerging in Saudi Arabia. Several mega projects have been undertaken by the government and are being built simultaneously. For, example, the country is currently in the middle of building new economic cities, building bridges and expansion of chemical facilities. Upon completion of these projects, the country is bound to get global recognition, spur economic growth and increase foreign investments in the country.

These investments are not being undertaken in a vacuum, the government is spending billions of shillings to fund these projects that also include the building of schools, parks, mosques and other civic infrastructure. However, there are several challenges that Saudi Arabia faces in building so many megaprojects at the same time. The main challenge is labor. Traditionally, Saudi Arabia lacks enough skilled and even manual workers, the number of foreign laborers in the country is high and they are used by various companies in their constructional works.

This paper examines the case of labor force in mega projects of Saudi Arabia. The many mega projects being carried out in Saudi Arabia presents challenges both to the government and the private sector as they try to address the challenges of labor in these projects. These challenges include scarcity of labor, management and Saudization policy. Saudi Arabia in perspectiveSaudi Arabia is a Muslim country found in the Arabian Peninsula. On its west, there is the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba. To the east is the Persian Gulf were all its oil deposits are found.

Saudi Arabia is a desert but still, it is endowed with oil deposits. About 80 years ago when the country came into power its means of living was through agriculture and pilgrimage revenues and its culture is dictated by the Muslim religion which is up to now the main religion. Saudi Arabia is home to Mecca and Medina; the holy cities of Muslims pilgrimages (Sink). In 1938 vast oil deposits were discovered. Oil deposits provided the country with the needed funds to transform its lifestyle. The transformation was witnessed by changes in infrastructure, governance and the education system.
