It is with this reason that the employees should be provided with a platform that will help promote innovation that will translate to growth and improved performance of the company. The employees should, therefore, be provided with the necessary resources and allowed to interact freely with others to share ideas that will help foster innovation within the business premises. The employees are responsible for the direct interaction with the customers of the organization. In this way, they serve the customers and collect their feedback to help improve the quality of products and services provided by the organization. Finally, the employees in the production department determine the quality of goods and services that are provided by the organization. They are responsible to counter check the products before they can be sold into the market. 6.1 managers The managers are hired as they can effectively run a business. These managers are the business agents as they possess the capability to effect change within the organization. It is through the managers that employees get to channel their efforts towards the achievement of an inspired vision. Managers are crucial in inventing, adoption and implementation of innovation and change [Fan10].Therefore, the managers are majorly seen as the catalyst that firms adopt to enhance change in terms of growth or performance 6.2 team members The team members have skills that are required for a project to be undertaken. Among the roles that the team members play in the organization include the reporting of progress that has been achieved when undertaking the project. the team members also work to identify the risks that are associated with the project, . similarly, the team members also help to contribute the successful communication as well as providing motivation to other members for the project to be undertaken. Finally, the team members are responsible for producing the different deliverables that are produced according to the specifications of the project. 7 required knowledge in establishing high performance team 7.1 Expertise Expert knowledge is important in the organization as it helps in ensuring that the organization achieves full performance in the development of the products and services of the organization. The expert knowledge allows the organization to manage activities such as planning, organizing and controlling of people, systems and processes. With expert knowledge being provided in the project it is possible for the organization to develop innovation and invention opportunities to help improve the processes and systems that are used to undertake the project. In this way, the project will be easily completed thus helping to save time, costs and other important resources within the organization. 7.2 social skills The main social skills in knowledge that are used during the undertaking of a project are based on the motivation of the team members to ensure that they provide optimal performance in their daily activities. When knowledge is possessed in the social skills of the organization helps to promote cooperation among the team members who are involved in the project. Similarly, this form of knowledge helps to encourage communication and as a result, efficiency is achieved in the management of the project. 8 commitments of the individuals in establishing high performance team 8.1 Motivation Motivation is an important strategy for the success of projects within an organization. Employee motivation is an important factor that allows the employees to pursue tasks that are related to the goals of the organization. The motivation should consider both the internal and external factors that determine the motivation of the employees. The intrinsic motivation is main a form of motivation that comes from within the employee himself. The intrinsic motivation therefore comes from the employee themselves. The extrinsic motivation is the external factors that allow cause the employee to work towards fulfilling the tasks and goals of the organization. There are two types of extrinsic motivation namely punishment and the motivation that provides bonuses and benefits to the outstanding employees. 8.2 Compliance to the rule Compliance to the rule provides the need to follow the conforming rules such as regulations, standards and policies that have been developed by the regulatory authorities to govern the undertaking of the project. Compliance to the rule provides the routes that need to be followed by the organization while they undertake the different projects. Due to the increasing number of projects being undertaken by different organizations, there has been an increase in the regulations to allow transparency and accountability in the project. The compliance controls also help to ensure that the employee use harmonized controlled that ensure that there are unnecessary duplication of effort and resources. 8.3 personal preferences The personal preferences provide for communications and understanding of all the team members for the project. The personal preferences among the team members are important to be understood to make it easy for the employees to decide the best route which serves to achieve the goals set for the project. Te preference requires that the employees communicate to determine which of the methods identified for the project will be the most suitable method. 9 the challenges in establishing high performance team The lack of trust is a major problem that faces the organization while undertaking projects. Other than considering the trust that the employees have for each other, it is also important that the organization clearly communicates their activities in light with the mission and vision of the organization as well as to promote marketing activities in the organization. Communication is likely to create collaboration in the organization so as to promote a competitive advantage for the organization. Diversity is another challenge that the organization faces while undertaking the project. The organization diversity usually limits the performance of the employees in the organization due to miscommunication, trust and cultural differences as these activities usually limit the team building process [Rob091]. The project identifies the specific problem affecting a project to be the lack of cooperation between the members. It provides a number of solutions to the problem among them being improving on the skill of the employees through continuous and regular support, training, promoting and funding research and development activities to ensure that the employees understand the requirements of the project and work towards achieving the objectives and goals set for the project. 10 potential conflicts in establishing high performance team 10.1 generational gaps The generational gap is usually developed by the fact that the organization consists of a workforce of different ages. The generational gaps have led to different opinions being developed in the organization. In most countries, the generational gap is the major demographic conflict that exists in the organization. Given that the generational gap creates conflicts in the organization, thus making the organization not to perform effectively while undertaking some of the projects. The older generation of people would rather choose to stick to the old methods that they are used to in undertaking their activities while the younger generations have resulted to using new, improved and innovative processes and systems to complete the different activities required for the project to be completed. 10.2 gender diversity Dinger diversity has been an issue in most organizations. However, studies conducted on the issue have shown that the organization diversity is more advantageous to the organization. However, there are still conflicts on the issue since some managers will focus on the negative ideas and perceptions that have been created in the organization about gender diversity to discourage diversity in the organization. Nevertheless, it is important to consider that the gender diversity helps to promote growth of ideas and insights to improve problem solving within the organization. This is because the different genders have different ideas that could be incorporated into the activities of the organization to improve performance. 10.3 immersions of new members The emersion of new members requires that they go through a training process which takes time for them to understand the processes of the organizational systems. Similarly, they need to have information from the decisions of the managers passed to them in time, regular training to help them become more innovative and produce better goods. A satisfied employee would provide better services to the customers bringing in a fulfillment in all the sectors of the company [Siu03]. 11 conflict resolution in establishing high performance team Conflict resolution in the organization helps to improve the productivity of the organization. Productivity in any organization is usually a measure of the efficiency in the production of goods and services in the organization. Productivity, in this case, can be expressed as a ratio of the output of the products and processes of the organization with regards to the inputs used. Productivity is, therefore, a measure of the income that is generated from the differences between the inputs and outputs in of the products and services of the organization. When there are conflicts in the organization, it becomes hard for them to achieve optimal performance [Ben02].
