This is where effective information systems come in helpful. For example, in performing the controlling aspect of management, would involve handling various sets of information to check if certain standards are met in production, sales, or other business function. Information systems will help me get this information through a network and handling this massive amount of information will be easier through the use of information software which would have been otherwise laborious without the help of an information system  This makes me efficient and able to more effectively at a lesser time.

Guidelines for its ethical use however must be established. Private information that relates to the employee or information that does not relate to the job must not be disclosed or used for another purpose other than what it is intended. Technology can be helpful but can also be destructive if it is not guided by ethical considerations.

HTML stands for Hypertext Markup Language. Tim Berners-Lee, an engineer from CERN originally developed the idea of HTML. The idea of HTML came out of Berner-Lee’s frustration of having to log on to different computers just to get the information he needed. He mulled that there must be a better way to get a set of information from different computers which gave birth to the idea of HTML. So the original concept of HTML was a hypertext system that connects networking technology and protocols to share information between computers. From then on, it later developed to become the basis and fundamental language of the world wide web or Internet (www.landofcode.com).

It started with its first version of HTML 1.0 which was very simple with only 22 tags and had very limited web function because very few people were involved in web development and the internet was not yet popular. Then Netscape came with their Netscape Navigator and created a set of proprietary tags and a browser war ensued where browser tags for HTML pages allowed more capabilities such as allowing pictures, Javascript, animated gifs, and html frames (www.Ironspider.com).

Question one did not involve much research because I already know what Henry Fayol's five functions of management are. I only have to synthesize or apply how I understand it in the context that it will be complemented by information systems.

The question about HTML which asked about its beginnings and essentials was also relatively easy to research because it does not require a journal but rather, the internet is the more reliable source because it asked how the internet started. I chose 3 reputable sites and compared their contents to make sure they are consistent. Also, I already have a working knowledge of HTML and it helped me elaborate my answer about it. Read More
