Every person can play an active role in preventing microscopic infections. The experiment for handwashing is aimed at helping children understand the importance of proper hand hygiene (Verbyla et al., 2852). The use of soap and water and alcohol-based sanitizer is going will be essential in this experiment. Kids should find handwashing interesting as they attempt to develop a proper hand hygiene culture and minimize the risk of spreading germs.

Everybody should learn and know the proper time to wash hands. The best time to wash hands includes touching people, surfaces, and objects exposed to the risk of germs. Anyone can infect themselves if they touch contaminated surfaces and transfer the germs when they touch their eyes, mouth, or nose. Even though no one can keep their hands free of germs, frequent hand washing has proved to be a strategy that eliminates a great number of germs that include bacteria and viruses (Ford et al., 1164). Every person is responsible for washing their hands before preparing any meal, treating wounds, and removing contact lens. There is no limit of any amount of frequency for washing hands.
It is also essential to understand how to wash hands. Hand washing seems simple, but it’s a scientific process. Best handwashing requires using soap and running water. It is important to note that antibacterial soaps have high efficacy and are highly recommended for handwashing as compared to regular soap. These soaps are available in different brands in different regions. The handwashing strategy requires cleaning hands with clean running water (Ford et al., 1165). Warm or cold water is recommended. Apply soap and vigorously lathe the hands and fingers for approximately 20 seconds. Scrap the surface including the back of the hand. Rinse adequate and air dry the hands.

Alcohol-based sanitizers have also been recommended for handwashing. Alcohol-based sanitizers have become popular in 2020 because of the corona pandemic that requires a high level of hand hygiene. The popularity of alcohol sanitizers is that they do not require handwashing. Users apply the alcohol to the palm of their hands and rub the hand (Verbyla et al., 2852). The level of alcohol in these sanitizers must be approximately 60%.

Thorndon School Wellington NZ and Victoria University are conducting an experiment aimed at determining the effectiveness of handwashing in compacting microscopic beasts. The grand experiment will demonstrate how germs affect substrate. The experiment includes growing mold on bread after being exposed to various contaminated surfaces. Results from growing molds in bread will demonstrate how germs spread and the importance of washing hands to prevent the spread. The experiment is targeted at children (Verbyla et al., 2852). The experiment contains simple instructions that will include animations that are easy for children to understand the importance of handwashing.

Conclusion
A simple way to stay healthy is developing a proper hand hygiene culture. Thorndon School Wellington NZ and Victoria University have developed an experiment to determine the effectiveness of proper hand hygiene in eliminating microscopic germs (Verbyla et al., 2852). The experiment is aimed at children who require adequate learning on how to maintain proper hand hygiene. Proper hand hygiene has great rewards and is helpful in preventing the spread of harmful viruses.
