Persuasive Speech: Why we should regularly exercise?

How many times do you exercise in a day or a week? I know this is a difficult question for many. I know some may have engaged in exercise before. At the same time, some may have not participated in any exercise program due to one reason or the other. However, I would like to point out that taking place in exercise has been gaining prominence in our society. The prominence has been due to various benefits associated with taking place in an exercise program. We should participate in the exercise as it offers immense benefits.

The first advantage of taking place in exercise has been on the reduction of weight. Many people in the country have been struggling with weight issues. Such people need to take part in the exercise as it has been shown to help in burning extra calories in the body (Mayo Clinic Staff, 2015). Extra calories are linked to overweight. Therefore, as calories are burned, the individual manages to maintain a stable weight.

The other important thing in engaging in exercise is that there are health benefits. I know many people are worried about diseases such as diabetes as well as heart conditions. Such worries can be reduced by knowing that there is a solution to such problems. As noted, by taking place in exercise one can be free of various health conditions with the most common being stroke, and diabetes (Mayo Clinic Staff, 2015).

Moreover, engaging in exercise will help one improve the mood. I know some of you have had some mood swings and hoped how it would get away. You do not have to worry, just take part in a simple exercise program. It has been shown that taking place in exercise allows free flow of oxygen and other nutrients in the body, and this helps inefficient functioning of the heart (Mayo Clinic Staff, 2015).

In conclusion, it is clear there are immense benefits of taking place in exercise. The benefits include maintaining a healthy weight, overcoming health issues, and boosting mood. Therefore, I would request each and every one of us to dedicate some time to taking part in any given exercise.
