"Sexual Health Issues" is a wonderful example of a paper on wellness and lifestyle. The major health concerns in the world today, are heart disease and cancer. More people continue to be diagnosed with these fatal diseases. Doctors have stated that the causes of these diseases are poor eating habits, sedentary lifestyle that people have adopted, and lack of exercise. Primary prevention techniques include stress avoidance. Secondary techniques are good eating habits while tertiary techniques are composed of exercising regularly.

Question 2: what historical person had the most significant influence on health education? What are they known for? The reason I chose him over the rest?

Ambrose pare is one of the people in history that made a huge milestone in the field of medicine and health. He was a surgeon in the 16th century. Given the lack of technology, he operated people to heal using clumsy and bulky methods. The reason I chose Ambrose is that he was the founder of surgery that has taken over the medical field. Every day people are having surgeries because Ambroise was brave enough to spearhead it.

Question 3: discuss specific examples of how health beliefs and practices have changed over time to present the day?

Answer: Health beliefs have evolved with time as human beings have. In the early days, when one fell sick they would be healed by herbs and visiting the traditional healers. Nowadays if one is sick, they go to the hospital, they are diagnosed using the latest state of the art and prescribed medicine to heal them.

Question 4: Determine the philosophies in health education that you agree with in chapter three and the reason for choosing it?

Answer: There are many philosophies in health education. However, I agree better with the eclectic philosophy that touches the basis of the students. It analyzes the qualitative and quantitative processes of the development of the learner. It is interesting inefficient outcomes, implements naturalism, and provides learners with optimal education opportunities.

Question5: Choose one theory of health education and list the components of the theory

Answer: There are several theories in health education. Self-efficacy theory is one of them. It states that the success of the health worker lies within their individual impression of their ability to handle their tasks.

Question6: How a health educator can use the theory?

Answer: A surgeon with positive efficacy is more assured of themselves. Health educators should make sure that their impressions of themselves are positive. Moreover, they should not let past failures affect them.

Question 7: After obtaining a bachelors degree, explain opportunities that are available for one to maintain the skills and up to date with the health education profession

Answer: After graduating, must the graduand continue to read medical materials so as to be informed of the trending health issues. They need not keep the books away as the human brain works better when it is constantly reminded of the tasks.

Question 8: Choose two settings in which health education occurs and describe the primary responsibilities that the health educator does

Answer: Health education occurs in hospitals and health centers and schools. The health educator talks to the audience to educate them on the general ways of taking care of the sick and preventing diseases which are through proper diet, stress avoidance, and exercise.

Question 9: One of the key responsibilities of a health educator is to serve as a resource to health. A sorority has asked you to come up with a presentation on sexually transmitted infections and seven facts about the infections. Include citations

Answer: Sexually transmitted diseases are diseases that are transmitted through sexual intercourse with a sick person. The diseases include; HIV/aids, syphilis, gonorrhea, among others. These diseases can be treated, it is best that the infected go to the doctor in the early phases to contain the disease. Some of these diseases if not treated in time, can cause lifelong adverse effects like infertility (French 31). It is possible to avoid sexually transmitted diseases through protected sex.

Answer: Of the five guest speakers that were invited to speak to the students, I  enjoyed the third speaker who spoke on sexual health. Must speakers be invited to talk about sex and sexual health to the young adults so as to ensure that the young generation is well informed of their sexuality and sexual health? To avoid diseases and unwanted pregnancies that lead to abortions.
