"Breast Feeding Laws" is an outstanding example of a paper on pregnancy. The importance of Breastfeeding needs to be understood by the stakeholders in the employment sector and the mothers. The importance of the natural process should be emphasized to ensure the child, the mother, and the economy is protected. Breastfeeding implies the process of feeding the newborn with breast milk during the initial stages of growth (National council of state legislatures).

Breastfeeding laws are necessary for a nation. The life of the newborn depends on breast milk. Breast milk contains antibodies from the mother that protect the infant from bacteria and Viruses. Children tend to suffer few medical complications. In a nation that spends substantially on healthcare, breastfeeding would be a significant step towards reducing the cost of healthcare (National council of state legislatures).

Breastfeeding benefits the mother by reducing the excess weight gained during pregnancy. Weight reduction protects the mother from diseases associated with fat. Breast and ovarian cancer risk of occurrence reduce due to breastfeeding. Breastfeeding laws need to be enforced to protect women from this medical complication that increases the cost of healthcare (National council of state legislatures).

Breastfeeding laws may be viewed as a decrease in working hours having an effect on the overall output. Evaluation of the workers under the breastfeeding laws reviles a Happier and healthier workforce which can translate to increased output. A healthy workforce enables the government to divert funds to other significant sectors. The nation should focus on improving the economy through improving healthcare (Workplace resource center).

Countries with low breastfeeding rates like Scotland are implementing strategies to increase the breastfeeding rate by creating awareness through advertisements. The advertisement targets culture in the society whereby breastfeeding in public is encouraged. Breastfeeding is necessary to a woman’s body, and public awareness should be encouraged to facilitate the natural process (Tanya).
