Personal Statement - Admission/Application Essay Example

Personal ment I have always been the type of a person who has time and again believed in the fact that life is all about having the short term tactical goals as well as the long term strategic ones. My perception reigns supreme when I opine that in order to achieve success in terms of my personal capacity and professional basis, it can sometimes be very imperative to remain focused on the goals that have been set. Furthermore, I perceive the obstacles coming my way as a helping hand rather than forcing me out of my set path of action.

I have always remained as an optimistic person. Henry Ford once said, “Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goal.” I completely agree with this quote because it reminds me that I need to remain focused on the task at hand and thus the end result will shape up on its own and one which would be nothing short of success and triumph. For this reason, I have always been able to achieve any kind of goals that I had set for myself. On a more personal note, my belief would facilitate me towards my focus which is bent upon gaining admission to the field of management from where I would receive MSc in Management and thus step into the world of business.

After I complete my MSc in Management, my short-term career goal is to enter the business world and thus continue to gain indispensable practice and understanding related with the field of management. I would aspire to work for top international companies where I can put my educational, management and leadership skills to the best use possible. I believe that the experience will help my personality to develop in a manner which will make me prepared for any kind of challenge that comes my way as well as make me progress down this strenuous trail in the wake of the long-term goal that has to see the light of the day.

My long-term goal is to ultimately be the CEO of a leading company. However this goal is not that easy so to speak and requires a great amount of patience and more than that hard work. I believe that success in management comes from a couple of tenets, one a good educational foundation and two, leadership skills learned with the help of experience. I would like to pursue my MSc so that I may get the required educational foundation on which I could harness my business experience. I am very excited about my future and I look forward to many successful years ahead of me.

I plan to keep my eyes always focused on my goals. Success will not come any other way all said and done. I hope the relevant authorities present at the helm of affairs would provide me the opportunity to harness my future and let me gain an insight into the real world of management and business so that I could gain something solid and substantial from my life.
