A leader should always have the quality of good charisma. The aim for this is to influence people and lead them towards achieving a common and specific goal. The goal depicted in this context, that is, leadership in any kind of institution is success of the institution. Leadership therefore entails a very wide variety of roles which are directed towards the leader. These roles are the determinants of whether the leaders’ ways in leadership is a success or failure. The qualities of a good leader can be classified into different categories depending on the context of which the leadership is applied to.

The context examples can include school or institution based areas, companies or business premises, the government or even official places like consultation offices. The qualities can include ability to convince a crowd of people, good speaking skills, good communication skills, ability to command and the dictatorial powers. To best achieve these qualities, a leader should exercise the best knowledge requirements expected of a leader hence proper leadership. We base our study on the book by Andrew J.

Dubrin who writes on the leadership and all its surrounding understanding factors that that are required of a leader. The book is named Leadership: Research Findings Practice, and Skills, can show what the book entails right from its title where it shows various issues about a leader. The chapters from who leader is , the importance of having a leader and the nature of the leader gives a summary of who a leader should be. It also shows the traits and characteristics that a leader can be identified by.
