The pioneering artistic contributions of Clarice act as role models because these art pieces illustrate how an artist can capture and reflect the feel and spirits of his age through his artwork. The use of vibrant and unique colours in these art pieces broadens the vision and elucidates the role of vivid colours in making an art pieces lively and vivacious. The art work of Clarice also inspires the creative vision and motivates towards creating masterpieces that can fit within the public taste while depicting the socio-economic and political values of the age in attractive and inventive manner.

Clarice divulged bizarre range of experimental artwork that was widely recognized and praised by critics, artists and art lovers and truly stands as example of innovation within the field of art (Griffin et al, 1999, p82). Clarice Cliff occupies important role in the history of ceramics. She gave new dimensions to the pottery designing and creation. The unique and exclusive designs, shapes and patterns of Clarice Cliff have been appraised with the term of Bizarre Ware that shows essence of innovation within ceramic and potteries.

The Clarice Cliff potteries are basically composed of strong lined, vibrant collared, perfectly hand painted geometrical designs that initiated new era of designing in the field of potteries and ceramics. The art work basically consists of the potteries of normal use like cups, causers, teapots and plates. These potteries were painted by hand using vibrant colours and unconventional designs that gave a totally new style to the domestic setting (McKittrick, 2002, p18). The art pieces made by Clarice amazed the people because these art pieces introduced the use of vivid and bright colours in the pottery of common use.
