As such, I identified and selected all the stakeholders that have an interest in the Great Barrier Reef and investigated the attitudes of different stakeholders as to the objective of conserving and preserving the Great Barrier Reef and combating the dire effects of climate change in the waters of the Great Barrier Reef.

The subject matter of the Great Barrier Reef immediately calls to mind the problem of climate change that has been bedeviling the whole world. This has caused immeasurable alarm to every nation on earth because if left unabated, it will signal the extinction of this planet. Problems of management and planning of the Great Barrier Reef by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (GBRMPA), to whom the whole paper is addressed to, are but of secondary and minor importance.
