The thing that was brought to notice from the acceptance of euthanasia in some regions like Oregon (United States) can be considered as the harsh truth. The practice of euthanasia even results in assistance of death to those who aim for suicide even though their ailment is chiefly depression and not a painful physical condition. Several other wrong practices find their way under the roof of euthanasia, which becomes crucial to be addressed with a prominence of attention. The Holy Bible, the most important religious book of Christians directs the thoughts and beliefs of a person in the acceptance of God as the power who alone should hold the right to take away life.

Thus, euthanasia, a practice using which assisted suicide is provided to patients in a terminally ill position iChristians's not within the accepted boundaries of ethics as presented in the holy Bible. As per the Bible and believers of the bible, only the   Almighty Father holds the right to take away life from the human body. Thus, the acceptance of assisted suicide for terminally ill patients also should not be practiced as per Christianity. Euthanasia- In the light of scientific research Haverkate (1998) and colleagues performed a study to describe the presence of and compliance with guidelines in the cases of euthanasia and intensifying of the alleviation of pain and symptoms.

The study also held its focus on understanding the opinions of physicians about written guidelines. In addition, the relationship between the meeting of the requirements for prudent practice and the presence of and compliance with guidelines or euthanasia was studied (Haverkate, 1998). The interview was used as the method of data collection. And the results revealed that in case of meeting the requirements for prudent practice, there existed no significant differences between cases of euthanasia in which EAS (euthanasia or assisted suicide) guidelines were present and the ones in which there were no such guidelines. 

In addition, the presence of guidelines seemed to project better adherence to consultation and other essential actions. However, it is essential to note that the study had a limitation, for the collection of data was based on the self-report of physicians, and the content of guidelines was not verified. We, therefore, prose that well-designed, large sample-sized research studies should be conducted to further assure the results as revealed from this study.

In another study, Rurup (2005) and colleagues attempted to learn more about the characteristics of patients who request euthanasia or physician-assisted suicide and the effect of physicians' decisions. It was concluded from the study that being tired of living could play a crucial part in the desire for euthanasia in patients. The tired-of-living phenomenon can exist irrespective of whether the patient is suffering from a major disease or not. It was noted that the high occurrence of symptoms in the absence of classifiable severe disease certainly implies that physical symptoms hold a high prevalence in this category of patients, thus leaving the legal requirement of EAS of medical care open to interpretation in the presence of more complex medical practice (Rurup, et al., 2005).

However, the above studies just present a speck of the whole research work that has taken place and that is essential to take place in the case of understanding euthanasia. It thus becomes crucial for us to address that the research with greater dominance to well-designed and greater sample size research can certainly help us understand the situation of euthanasia acceptance and rejection in greater detail.

Innovation in medicine should try to defeat the pain as experienced by terminally ill patients. The practice of euthanasia should not be accepted on ethical and moral grounds. The assistance in death if provided by doctors shall certainly lower their professional integrity. Steps that are alternative to the practice of euthanasia should be addressed with prominent attention. We should learn from others' experiences. The places that have adopted the practice of euthanasia have paid in rich terms. Thus, for the safety and security of life and morals, it is highly recommended that the practice of euthanasia should be entertained on moral grounds.
