Malcolm X’s Realization of Self Identity I choose to focus on Malcolm Xs period of incarceration with due consideration for his strive for transforming his life with that of others during jail term. I have clear reasons to support my theme because he was an ambitious man who aimed at being one of the outspoken orators of the most powerful emission of Black revolution. The imposing narration of his ideal concerns is at the best level of empowering self preservation and human dignity. His focus on social equality has been expressed throughout his struggles in and out side the jail even as he had constraints on his way.

I understand Malcolm considered him as a black person right from his childhood. His imposing struggle to become a spokesman was always discouraged by the societal benefit enjoyed by the white community. You know, it is an example of the present day’s America. As you know well, when diplomacy fails, there is war; that is what happened to this man. Continuous rehearsal of humiliating events took him to the verge of reacting violently. And you know, as a result of this incident, he turned a rebel and started exhibiting a deviant behavior against anything he disliked.

As an argument line I believe that his life resembled a Russian roulette game. Expectation of a good turn out from any endeavor is the right of every individual. He evaluated the priorities of the society and found that he must be white or of a fighting nature to stand against the inequalities in the society. I mean, Malcolm was transforming himself to be a governor of the consolidated feelings of the depressed black minds. I would like to give emphasize to the fact that Malcolm strongly opposed the white’s control of education and occupation.

With his struggles for upholding the prestige and rights of the black, he took chances of risking his life. He never feared the impact of failure; success or failure seemed same to him. His objective of the fight was as solid as his thoughts. I think, he encouraged the indigenous equality claims of the black, because, the topography of American soil had become a stage for the white actors to demonstrate the cruel ways of discriminating the black. Let me consider Malcolm’s life in the prison for that longer term as a reformative time for him.

He confronted questions about his color of his kin and hair. A white in the jail was a jinx across his life path. He had to apply himself, to the toxic conditions that people created with the uncontrolled use of chemicals to dye hair. Looking like a white was much more essential to survive on the county’s soil than living a normal life with all abnormalities. Malcolm addressed the people with an inspiring urge for a propulsive preparation at any moment. In my view, provocation of the minority is the greatest fun of the dominant white.

I understand that Malcolm realized the vitality of his existence during his life in the prison. He wanted to learn more from what other religions had to say. He took the path of his religious life in the prison; he took Islam for reference and read it until he tuned his mind for Christianity and started reading the Bible. I say, his effort was one of the greatest I have ever known to have taken by anybody. He struggled and gained knowledge with intent to stand against the white’s poor attitude that leads to the professional and social damage imposed on the black.

He was successful in reading great books to find the religious structure laid deep in the families from which a partial white person is born. I mean to say, he learnt a vast area of knowledge in order to attain the recognition as a person among the society. He learned about the religious thoughts with an aim to conserve the black culture against the killing instinct of white men. His knowledge was his might to express himself to the audience who followed him. He spoke well and managed the minds of people; that is really something credible.

My estimation blinks to the factual point that Malcolm fought for human equality. You can find a lot impact of positive mindedness he developed during his incarceration on the society that he designed to serve. The height of his voice and the literature of the messages he made a jolting effect on the listener. I would try to restate that he was getting empowered each time he was discouraged or even threatened. He always had a question to answer in his life, and the answer to the question was his courage and conviction in whatever he spoke.

Malcolm was truly a sort of person power and hatred for the white society personified. He was flexible but not fluctuating from his own ideas. What we see about him is the concrete faith he had for his objectives and the struggles he had for pursuing them effectively. I would like to conclude with a quote from one of his speeches where he says, "If violence is wrong in America, violence is wrong abroad. If it is wrong to be violent defending black women and black children and black babies and black men, then it is wrong for America to draft us, and make us violent abroad in defense of her.

And if it is right for America to draft us, and teach us how to be violent in defense of her, then it is right for you and me to do whatever is necessary to defend our own people right here in this country." (Speech, Nov. 1963, New York City). This shows his self motivation to strive for the country’s prestige with prospective concern for his own people. I am of the personal view that, the purpose of this autobiography and the other three books we have read, is to alert the ignorant of important black authors’ existence and their accomplishments in reforming the social structure that discriminated the black race.

He refers that "A race of people is like an individual man; until it uses its own talent, takes pride in its own history, expresses its own culture, affirms its own selfhood, it can never fulfill itself." (Malcolm X). This gives a great lift to the underlying factor of discouragement within the black society. Finally, I estimate that individuals should follow his theory, because the power of his words can transforms lives.
