Extract of sample "Contribution to the University"

People who had influenced me profoundly, like my parents and religion teachers do manage to have found in me a spiritual knowledge that is based on praying, studying, and applying the teachings of the Bible, and learning from other Christians through fellowships. With this much insight, I believe that I would be capable of imparting on the commitment of Pepperdine University to its vision of expressing Christian principles on each aspect of academic life. By experience, I could say that being a Christian has challenged the growth of my character as a person who continuously struggles to find sensibility and love in following Christ.

As I let myself establish the habit of prayer and righteous acts, it becomes easier to comprehend God’s divine nature in relation to the attributes of humility and patience every human being could possibly achieve as such have enabled me and fellow Christians to acquire a heart of compassion toward those who are in need and in distress. More than the necessary accountability of having a noble task to take, I realize that reaching out to the less fortunate and spreading the word of faith are vital to enhancing my potential to yield a humble and sincere type of leadership, knowing how essential yet tough it is to bring across the meaning of Christianity and salvation.

Eventually, the constant practice of employing good deeds renders me to be flexible in dealing with different kinds of people and this has encouraged my interest to develop a certain art and skill in communication. This way, I have been able to gain adequate confidence at sharing my knowledge with others while in return I get to imbibe their wisdom which I believe would impact Pepperdine University in various ways. At this point, I have a keen recognition of the areas that comprise my strength to meet the school’s expectations in line with its general goal and set of beliefs.

Because I possess the ability to exchange intellectual and spiritual thoughts with Christians and non-Christians alike and show a deeper level of understanding as I get the atmosphere to build on healthy arguments, I could offer motivation to ensure conscientious development for my classmates and other co-working individuals in the university. There may be portions in my profile that might fall short of meeting the requirements in other fields yet with my willingness to adjust with or adapt to changes, it would be less difficult to earn the attitude to be versatile and align with the objective to excel for the institution.

Maintaining an approach in terms of diligently studying the major courses and attending to extracurricular activities that convey godly endeavours would signify a proper balance between personal scholastic affairs and my involvement in training to attain Christian faith and consistent obedience to the spiritual values that the academe desires to inculcate in every student hereafter.
