Study 4 – Guide Star Study 4 – Guide Star Organizational Profile The chosen organization was the Asian and Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund, which was reportedly known as APIASF, located at Washington, DC with Neil Horikoshi as the Chief Executive (GuideStar, 2012). As disclosed from the Guide Star site, this organization is committed to transparency, registered with the IRS, has annual revenue and expenses reported and indicated, and with an explicitly detailed mission statement.

From the information revealed therein, one learned that it was founded in 2003 and its main thrust is the provision of educational funding through scholarships and financial aids to deserving students.
