"Critical Thinking in Nursing Management" is a great example of a paper on care. Every professional learning experience defines any incident or a moment that happened during the practicum and changed the student’s perspective on work. It also showed the student some of his or her aspects about him/herself in relation to their learning plan, roles and responsibilities as an intern, and goals associated with working in any organization (School of Nursing and Health Studies, 2012). Being under a practicum program at the moment, I am expected to acquire this professional learning experience. This is because am expected to teach a diverse group of nursing staff from the nursing home. My professional practicum experience goal is to train and produce a group of highly qualified nurses with diversified skills, who will provide exemplary and efficient services within the nursing home. I have come up with three objectives that will enable me to achieve this goal. At the end of this practicum, I will be able to:

1. Have student nurses apply the principle of the nursing process in various situations when dealing with patients.
2. Integrate nursing principles taught and their application in real life and career.
3. Handle difficult problems in making decisions in the classroom and when guiding students through their practice.

            By the end of this practicum, I should be in a position to impact the nursing process to nurse students and also follow all nursing processes strictly (Smith, 2001). For instance, by the end of that lecture, students should be in a position to identify processes in terms of their importance. This will enable them to make vital decisions that will save a life, improve health, and ensure comfort. On the other hand, I should be in a position to give advice on home health care. This deals with various skills and knowledge in providing health assessment and ways of taking care of different categories of patients (Home Health Nursing, n.d.). To achieve this, I need to carry out an analysis of the problem at hand, compare it with other similar problems that have been documented, and apply relevant knowledge and techniques to find a solution. It is crucial to come up with a summary of symptoms defining the problem for proper documentation. This will be vital in making a follow up on the patient.

            By the end of the first month of the practicum, I should be in a position to integrate classroom principles and developing entry level skills in my real life career as a nurse tutor.  This deals with the application of critical thinking concepts in nursing management. Various strategies are used to help students gain insights into nursing management (Fitne, n.d.). After presenting various nursing principles and concepts to the students, have students pair or sit in a group of threes, practice using these concepts for the purpose of getting familiar with them. This will enable students to tackle any problem by applying them. At the end of every session, students will have questions that will help them reflect on new methods of dealing with different circumstances.

            By the end of the practicum, I should have built the confidence to handle difficulties in this field of nursing. Both the tutor and students will be able to judge the value of information and ideas to determine the best course of action to take. For instance, students will be in a position to determine whether encouraging the use of birth control methods or sensitizing people would improve reproductive health in human beings. Students will give their views on this topic and let each present his or her reasons to back their choice. It is also important for me as a tutor to give a standard analysis and ask students to choose the most appropriate method to solve problems.
