According to S.R., HIPPA rules on confidentiality have improved corporation between caregivers and patients through enhanced privacy of information. His opinion is based on the perception of patients and caregivers based on experienced.

Responses by the two participants identify the need for public awareness on privacy rules and that patients’ confidence towards unlimited disclosure is important to the quality of care services. They however differ on the significance of existing privacy rules. Analysis of the interviews has improved my knowledge of trust in the quality of care services.
