The best option concerning communication and the approach to treatment is a procedure required of medical professionals is a relay of information that is adequate. The content of communication between a patient and the health professional should be the basic information about the diagnosis, expected outcomes, the risks associated, and side effects expected, complications that are possible, and an elaboration on alternative treatment methods. It is within patients’ legal right to know information concerning medical conditions and related treatment. It will render the patients at disposition with an understanding of the situation and expected treatment.

The lack of this information hinders patients' judgment and the acknowledgment that proceeds for a decision to be made towards coming up with treatment. In a paper, the moral obligation demands the protection of dignity and respect for the individual reason for autonomy.
