However, a care system that delivers the same clinical tasks but characterized by “humanly caring” attitudes and initiatives launched by the nurses or caregivers would make a big difference in the patients’ wellbeing. I believe this is an effective philosophy that can be adopted by hospitals to demonstrate its mandate and integral value that is to help patients recover from sicknesses or diseases and develop good health through methods that are faster and of better quality. In fact, some key elements of this model include nurse team-based care and active patient involvement (Health Workforce Solutions, 2008b). To implement the model, a group of teams with four members each was formed to care for all patients. Each has a team leader who is an expert on delegation, conflict resolution, problem-solving and group-based decision making facilitation.
