By The of the The of the School The and where it is located The The Conflict in Ukraine (2014-ongoing) To: US Secretary of State John Kerry From: US State Department official Situation: the extent of the Human rights violation is a great challenge in The Conflict in Ukraine (2014-ongoing). Significance The extents of the global Human rights violation globally is a great challenge to most countries worldwide and this issue should be a significant concern for every individual who shares and believes in the decency with regards to the treatment of human beings. The inherent and fundamental struggle human value and dignity forwarded to every members of the states and citizens in any country has been a war fought for time immemorial in the history of mankind. Our sovereign nation recognizes this topic as a work in progress similar to most democracies worldwide and it is worth noting that slavery was a law before being disbanded. The Conflict in Ukraine (2014-ongoing) is the greatest example of where the rule of the people cannot be respected by the running government. The government instead goes to the point compelling the people with the leadership they rejected (Lauren, Viola& Kathleen, 2015). Analysis Ukraine came back to full-scale war or conflict is very saddening. The fight begun in the 2014 April and has since raged numerous months to the eventual stage when the separatists and the Ukrainian government came to a ceasefire. The ceasefire has been used to prepare and reigniting of the fight mainly entailed capturing of the Donetsk airport that is a strategic symbol and asset from the government forces. The government troops have pulled out of the town that is the key transport hub as a new truce was established on 12 February in attempts to stage mediation process. The war has placed a cost of close to 5600 lives. The violence has placed up debilitating effects to the country as many civilians have been killed by rockets on the rebel side in the cities like Luhansk and Donetsk. Approximately thirty people were killed in the Maripaul, which is a port city under artillery attack. Rebels have since then besieged main roads and rail hub in areas of Debaltseve, which is the region in which most Ukrainian military troops have their base. The Ukranian problem is equally shared in various other parts of the globe where poor electoral and leadership have resulted in rebels and mass killings. In the past few months thousands of Bangladesh workers died in one of the greatest workplace safety tragedy in ever recorded in memorable history. Nigeria, Iran, Russia and many other countries close to 80 countries have created a discriminatory environment for the LGBT persons. This case has been created by the design of policies and laws that deny the LGBT their human rights and respect to human dignity. The condition has created a dehumanizing condition that threatens their existence in general terms. The best instance of the LGBT tribulations in some of these countries is well portrayed by the passing of new laws like anti-Homosexuality Bill that was enacted by the Uganda parliament and eventually signed into law by President Museveni. This law makes people criminal of what they are by nature. It further proceeds to punish the people who are fighting human right that is a global birthright to everybody worldwide. Enacting such typical laws and policies creates a trend of elevated violence levels and increased discrimination projected towards the LGBT people and their backers. The rules are retrogressive, and an affront to all levels of the conscience and thus the USA continues to support the LGBT people to ensure freedom and justice to them. It is our dream that America should join with other multiple nations to reaffirm its commitment to the world of speaking of one’s mind. The world that confirms that free expression or change of religion or faith will not result into imprisonment. The world where peaceful demonstration in the streets do not attract beatings or mass killing as practiced in various nations. The realization these targets marks the eventual attainment of desirable tenets normally envisaged as complete, authoritative, unemotional and realistically factual (Gaer & Broecker, 2015). The notable denial of human rights should be stopped, and eventual accountability be put in place. This will mark the end to the impunity and create a mark to an outlined fight that has taken ages to this time. The longed appeal to struggle for dignity and rights is not more important what has been transpiring worldwide. Every individual has the capability to create a mark on own what they think is good and fine their leadership to assume (Oberleitner, 2015). Another common sector where the world populace face great opposition is the point at which the government denies them the rights to basic human rights in their nations an action that is no coincidence. The US government should also work towards compelling these governments to allow democratic space to NGOs. Access to information is a vital mix that must be sponsored to ensure that people are allowed free expression and great regards to security upheld. Most nations have adopted mechanisms preventing their citizens against socially interacting in the social media and other forms of constrains implied on them. Apart from the Conflict in Ukraine (2014-ongoing), the findings of the UN commission of inquiry found out immense and massive levels of wholesale torture in what is regard as the crimes against humanity. The commission noted that people were sentenced to murder summarily and even fired to by artillery or by anti-craft weapons and use of the 122-millimeter aircraft that virtually obliterates human beings. Such killings are undertaken within the watch of many people who forced to be at the sight. This is the greatest for intimidation of people to forfeit fighting for the rights. Assyria has recently used weapons of mass destruction in a bid to overwhelm uprising under its dictatorial leadership. The uprising has been facilitated by the huge wants of the population youths that are fighting better services, education, jobs and many other issues (Dmitri, 2014). In conclusion, fight for the equitable human rights globally is a continuing struggle. The world won the fights against slavery, extreme racial discrimination, and it is on the way to counter the much needed human rights levels. While it is impossible to attain total democracy at an instance, it is possible that the world should join hands in presenting a peaceful and united integration and fight a disuniting government with the unison. United citizens create more notable voice while presenting their petition government and thus scare away government’s ruthless hands. Power comes from the people and therefore any government without the blessing of the people has no right to rule over the people. Elevated levels of human rights always results in comparatively better levels of life through providing a level platform economic developments. The journey is difficult, but it must be undertaken without fear of contradiction. Historically, the inhabitants of the world remain humble about their past and their various countries and well committed to increasing the levels of human rights (Oberleitner, 2015). The recommendations on the human rights especially for the Conflict in Ukraine issue tries to present the best approach formats on how to tackle the human rights issue. It highlights the essence of providing the most subtle approach on every special case at the segmented level. Analysis of the various data presented from various region worldwide acts as the baseline for the eventual classification and noting of the recommended answers to the various challenges affecting most people in the sphere (Gaer & Broecker, 2015). UN should undertake the following guidelines or even compel various countries (including Ukraine) to ensure equity and human rights observation of the appropriate answer to the burdened citizenry in various countries. 1. Assess the contributions towards provision of the education to people. A lot of government worldwide have not done well in informing of their people of their rights. 2. Evaluate and undertake the desirable changes in the normal working of the judicial systems and affiliated legal enforcement structures. The levels of corruption is a great problem in most countries and combination with delayed judicial process is a crucial change desirable in various countries. 3. Expand and outline the roles of the responsibilities of the human rights implementation process that is outlined in the national, local and regional levels and even review the existing mechanism for inclusive dialogue and entailed cooperation and coordination. 4. Establish and recognize the obstacles preventing the civil societies and various human rights defenders from their lubricated working and facilitation of the constructive environment with the decision-makers. 5. Evaluation of the states of the NHRIs and other notable human rights grievance mechanisms meets the required threshold with regards to resources availed , competencies and independence in consistency to the Paris principles. 6. Review of the status of ratification and entailed reservation to the international or regional human rights treaties and equally recognize the entire finding s or the recommendations of the treaty entailed in the monitoring bodies. 7. Research and seek areas where people are deprived of deserved liberty especially the police cells, detention areas, prisons and irregular immigrant or even psychiatric sections and enable effective filing of the complaint procedures . 8. Identification and removal of the discriminatory practices in the labor markets, health, education and other corridors by rubbishing out the discrimination in terms of the gender, ethnicity, gender orientation, age and many other factors. 9. Assess and place facilitating conditions to erase islamophobia, anti-Semitism, intolerance and hate crimes that it is very notable in the society today. 10. Re-assess the situation of the vulnerable people or the disadvantaged groups to recognize out the main obstacles of their ability to exercise their rights to peak levels. 11. Re-assess and redesign the counter terrorism measures through apposite legislation and regards to mop out the uncertainty and non-compliance with the human rights, for instance , prohibition of the torture practices 12. Redo and review measure such data collection with regards to the violence against women and entailed trafficking of human beings and also assess the legal framework for enabling of bringing justice to victims and suspects or perpetrators.
