It should possess the skills and resources to direct the right candidates to the right employer. In other words, the success of a recruitment agency is dependent on its ability to understand the demands of both the employee and the employer. Generally, recruitment agencies tend to develop working relationships with various companies so that they become the official recruiters of those companies. When executed accurately, this relationship will benefit all the parties involved. It will ensure the company that only the ones who possess the specific skills are directed to the company. In addition, it means reduced expenditure and reduced wastage of time. For the agency, there is more profit, and for the candidate, the most suitable job in the shortest period of time. However, for the relationship, to work properly, there should be a clear understanding between the employer and the recruitment agency as to what are the specific requirements for various positions in the company.This work intends to look into the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work for List and tries to identify the best performing companies in terms of percentage of job growth, top salary and perks. Thereafter, the companies that are suitable for people with less work experience are identified and listed. Also, the companies that suit the fresh graduates of St. Leo University are identified and listed. Finally, based on the findings, the companies which are important to have a working relationship with are identified. Introduction Agencies often tend to develop exclusive partnership arrangement with potential employers so that they can be an approved employee supplier. It is obvious that having a working relationship with as may companies as possible is always beneficial for recruitment agencies. The more the working relationships are, the easier the work will be, and the higher the placement will be. By having working relationships with the companies, it will be easy to identify exactly what qualities the companies are looking for in the potential candidates. That way, it will be easy to meet the expectations of the employer and the employee in a better way. When such a relationship is developed, it benefits all the concerned parties. For the company, this ensures easy availability of the most suitable candidates in the shortest possible time, and that too at a considerably lower cost. When the relationship works out as the candidates are successful, the agency gains more credibility, and thus, more business. Thirdly, for the candidate, there is the most suitable job with less effort as there is no need to search for vacancies in various companies. This work attempts to look into the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work for List, and tries to find out which are some important companies in the list with which a recruitment agency has to develop working relationships. In addition, efforts are made to identify the ones which best suit candidates with less experience, and the ones which best suit the fresh graduates from Saint Leo University. Here, the candidates are adults with some work experience and fresh graduates of St. Leo University. To analyze the situation, the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work for List is used. 1. Benefits of establishing a working relationship with the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For Undoubtedly, establishing a working relationship with companies makes the role of employment agency much easier. This is especially so when the companies have not provided a clear idea about the skills they are looking for or the skills that are very relevant to the jobs to be done. In addition, working relationships especially help when companies are seeking for a wide variety of talents for various positions. By developing a relationship with the companies, the recruitment agency will get a ‘deeper understanding of the expectations of the employer’ (Working with Recruitment Agencies). This will result in better guiding the candidates to suitable companies and posts. Thus, the placement agency will be able to meet the demands of both the employers and the candidates in a satisfactory manner. Thus, when the relationship is successful, it benefits all; the employer, the recruitment agency, and the candidate. When the employer gets talented candidates with less expenditure of time and money, the employment agency gets more business, and the candidate gets the most suitable job. However, care must be taken to ensure that the company and recruitment agency are able to communicate well about the criteria for selection and the specific skills they are looking for. Here, a look into the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For list proves that certain companies that are hiring at present have large number of vacancies and have not specified the criteria for selection in a clear cut manner. However, taking the future possibility of job openings into consideration, it is possible to refine the list of selected companies once again. In addition, the company does not demand work experience, though it is said that the candidates should show how they will contribute to the growth of the company. In addition, they company comes 2nd in the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work for List. Moreover, Boston Consulting Group is the 10th top paying company according to Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work for List. 2) Wegmans Food Markets The company offers 2000 job positions in customer service, chefs, team leaders, distribution, and department management. Candidates who are enthusiastic and are ready to learn can apply. The ones who join are offered a great work environment and benefits. 3) Cisco Cisco is looking for HR, IT, Management, Marketing, and Customer Support professionals for 4591 positions. Candidates who are willing to learn can apply. In fact, Cisco is already in ‘connection with a number of colleges and universities’ and conducts a number of campus events (University Connection). Considering the large number of openings in the company and the fact that the company is ranked 5th in the Fortune 100 Best Company to Work for List, it is very important to have a working relationship with this company.
