Apple Inc. is considered an American cultural Icon throughout the world, reaching out to many through its endearing products. Apple Inc. frequently explains that they want to preserve their energy and skill for more challenging team tasks and they believe in employee retention by giving various types of benefit packages. Apple, like any other exceptionally successful large Multinational Corporation has dealt with issues of termination and employee quitting. However, Milkovich and Newman argued that job dismissals happen due to many reasons, but mostly it is because of employees leaving an organization in search of better packages and intentional terminations are a product of employee performance evaluation.

All organisations, whether large multinational corporations or small businesses, public or privately owned need to have smooth functioning of systems and procedures in order to achieve their specific goals and objectives. They need to plan, design, implement and execute their required models for management in a proper way. According to Bateman and Snell, all organizations irrespective of their size and type of business must perform four basic functions of management namely: planning, organizing, directing and controlling.

Managing the human resource of a company is of utmost importance in the running of organisations. Of notable concern is the fact that organisations are not merely run by money, but by people and these people must feel themselves as part of the whole business process. As such, this paper has been designed to highlight and explore the “PEOPLE” dimension of Apple Corporation. The hypothesis of the paper is to test the impact of people involvement in the organisations basic procedures and functions in as far as the sense of belongingness to the organisation is concerned.
