The word courage is a term recognized by everyone in all languages. Where it differs in meaning is how individuals interpret it in certain situations. The exact definition of courage, as deemed by Merriam-Webster Dictionary, states: “mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty.”

The noise of the phone alarm went on at 5 AM in the morning. It is the usual time of waking up, but this was a special day. Having been able to wake up early, the day had to start with a morning jog. I came back, took a shower, and put set new clothes and prepared for the day. The clothes were not new but I always save them for special days.   

It is both physical and moral (ability to face danger, fear, or adversity (Alexander, 2012). For instance, it involves overcoming the fears of bodily harm to perform duty and act morally as one seeks to do what is right even when it is unpopular. Therefore, personal courage entails taking risks, facing fears, and holding onto what is right.

Our esteem school administration, teaching and support staff, beloved parents, fellow students, ladies and gentlemen, it is my prayer that you are good health this morning. It is more than a privilege for me your stand in front of you all; on behalf of the entire graduating class and express how happy we are today.

 In writing different essays, the content, appeals, and writing style can vary, depending on the aims and audiences of the writer. In “Our Vanishing Nights,” the article from Klinkenborg has been examined for its rhetorical appeals. In “My Inner Voices,” I described the battle between my good and bad sides as a person.

Anyone in society that says money is not the root of all evil would have a difficult time justifying this statement. They need only look at the many examples of wicked drug dealer to realize the truth. 

I have harbored big dreams since childhood for a prosperous career in management. It is always in the interest of any other individual to achieve great grades as the pathway to excellence in life. I possess attractive attributes which I believe if blended with relevant academic achievement will enhance my chances of becoming an admirable manager.

Moreover, I find it reasonable to attend classes at Monroe College once again for its capacity to engage students in appreciative learning.

Frozen yogurt is better than any other type of yogurt. It is built with minimal calories and fats. Further, it is made of enzymes that aid in food absorption. Frozen yogurt has been said to be most suited for building muscles and development of bones. The reason for this is the insatiable amounts of calcium and the construction blocks of beings.    

The idea of this research emerged from the author’s interest in how to write a good paper. When it comes to writing a good paper, the author must know and understand all of the components that are required within in that paper, as well as which order to have those components in. In writing a good paper, the author shows readers how well he has grasped the topic that he is writing about.

My childhood in Ukraine seems like a blur. Waiting in long lines with my mom for clothing, for bread, and for just enough Kovbasa (sausage) to feed a mouse. Unlike many working class people, my parents chose not to join the communist party and because of that, we did not receive healthcare or large varieties or amounts of food for that matter.

 I know that I am a smart person and am completely capable of getting good grades, but I think that I have let the pressure of potentially disappointing my parents get to me. However, after entering the ninth grade, I was able to better handle the pressure and prove to my parents that I could be a great student.  

I practice critical thinking sometimes. I believe one of the situations in which I apply critical thinking is in class or when making decisions that will affect my life or others in a major way. In such situations, I try to gather accurate information, synthesize it, and criticize it before making a conclusion. There are certain times that I do not apply critical thinking.

In civilized families, sons and daughters are somewhat treated equally except on the flexibility of intermingling with the opposite sex. She is obviously not equal to her brother, no matter what sacrifices she gives and no matter how much educated she is. All these years, women have been treated like machines. Men need to realize that machines also wear out.

It also depended upon common agreement on quality and quantity. This form of business was hectic and didn’t always guarantee the desired results. Consequently, currency form of money was invented to cater to the need of divisibility and portability. Money has undergone many changes over the years. Ancient people graduated from Barter trade to using precious metal coins as their form of money.

BU is an institution looking forward to the future but with firm foundations in the past. The contrast of history and environment makes the unique atmosphere of the school irresistible for someone like me who came from another country. BU not only has convenient transportation and an amazing campus near the Charles River but otherwise makes it easy for a student new to the area and relatively new to the country to survive and prosper.

With a lukewarm cup of overpriced coffee clutched in his hand, he rode the three floors up to his office. The elevator doors slid open, and he exited onto his floor. As he did every morning, he stared at the large letters so professionally placed on the chestnut colored walls.

The situation is that I have been getting low grades in my writing assignments and my tutor has warned that I need to work really hard and improve my writing.   I will sum up the main points in the body passages, restate the thesis and conclude the essay by stating some of the advantages that I derived as a result of my choice.

One of the effects of my brother accident is, now I can rely on myself. I was the reckless boy, and I was doing everything in an easy way. When I wanted something, Iasked my brother, and he would do whatever I asked. After what happened, I became more serious because I couldn’t find someone who can do my requirement.

The thesis should be added at the end of the introduction, included as part of the title, and reflect my strongest arguments. A thesis is required to ensure that I have a focused point in my essay. I should have a thesis that says: “Teenagers should not be allowed to undergo cosmetic surgery because they lack the physical and emotional maturity for it.

The conclusion from this essay states that Jimmy’s attributes such as charming, skilfulness, appearance, and courage increase my possessive nature consequently Jimmy forms a significant part of my life. I cannot imagine spending a whole day without enjoying the company with Jimmy. I possess Jimmy as my favorite pet. 

According to chapter 6 of the book “In a Field of Words” book published by Pearson Education, the description of the topic and the samples give a further elaborates the amazing nature of the genre. Skimming through the paragraphs on experimental writing, the thought of writing a poem crossed my mind.

 I remember when I went scuba diving for the first time. It was the summer of 2008 and I was barely a teenager at the time. The benefits of this class are that I will be able to give my work some critical thinking as I research on the topic. I will have the creativity and imagination to write about my topic of interest and hence will be able to write a superb quality paper. The skills that I will have acquired from this class will help me in analyzing my chosen topic.

It is absolutely unfair on the part of the universities to consider race or ethnicity as a factor within admissions. This is because race and ethnicity debates come directly under the prejudice discussions. It is necessary to know that a form of bias creeps in within the related equations when the talk goes out loud regarding the race and ethnicity aspects

Joshua Logan inspired him by explaining him about the acting career and became successful in convincing Jimmy Stewart on starting up with this field as his future career (McGowan, 1992 p 12). He entered the film industry as a marvelous comic actor and brought his name to the attention of a large number of viewers.  

They have taught their children to be self-centered, just themselves. Based on my interests in airport operations and airplanes, my dream is to become an airline pilot. To get there, I need to focus on mathematics and science as the fundamentals of piloting. After high school, I will attend aviation-specific flight technology; undertake a two-year program on flight maintenance and aviation management. Then, I will undertake a four-year aeronautical science-a course.

The author of the paper states that he also understands and acknowledges the fact that all living bodies in this world have a fixed life span, after which they need to return to their respective places in heaven or hell. To summarize his thoughts, he believes that death is the greatest fact of life.

I recollect these feelings with a sense of attachment and love. Sometimes I feel like going back in those times and thus become a part of history itself. However, I know this is easier said than done and would not be any easy by any stretch of the imagination. I can just long for such feelings I have come to this conclusion.

Abusing and insulting anyone who is close to me, is not acceptable and I cannot tolerate that. My father abused my mother in front of all the people in the bar and that was bad. It’s the aspect of making decisions inclusively, interpreting situations with rational intelligence and exhibiting a high degree of confidence and humility (Mills, 15). One of the characteristics of good leadership is courage which is the ability to confront fear, pain, danger, the unknown, uncertainty or intimidation willingly.

The hospital staff, knowing that the task ahead of us would not be easy to do, often turned to technology and gadgets in order to help connect with the patients and offer them a safe outlet where they could release their emotions and frustrations without adversely affecting themselves or those around them.

It should be noted that I took my trip at about 6 pm and it was quite chilly outside. I started my trip at the corner of Lincoln St. and 13th Ave about a Block Away from the State Capital building. I love skateboarding because it offers me a chance to express my mood and my body revolves, twists and turns in different ways to make me feel at home with my sentiments and emotions. Skateboarding is the ‘in’ thing in contemporary times and I am a firm believer of the fact that this sport must be recognized on a global level. 

Writing has impacted in my life in the sense that it has improved my communication skills; my creativity has been enhanced and my overall understanding of people based on their behavior which I tend to write on has increased (Richardson, 13). Further writing has enhanced my understanding of the world and how I can tell other peoples story.
