Child Development XXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXX XXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXX Child development part Child observation is crucial to parents as it is important due some important factors that may be of importance to the child as he grows. This step is encouraging to parents as they get to know the gradual development of the child. The development process should be well understood better by the parent. Parents should be the ones raising their own children and not having the responsibility done by nannies to conduct the duties of parenting on their behalf. It is noted that children that have lacked the opportunity of mother to child bonding have problems getting along together when the child gets to adulthood. The child tends to have problems in interact with parents, as the child gets withdrawn from the family. This is a reason that parents have issues with their very own. The child being raised by nannies and maiden tend to be closely attached to them and most of them may mislead or give different opinions, which may be against the will of the parents. It is important to note on issues of importance such as intelligence of the child. As the child develops, it is more likely he understands better on different way of life. This is noted on gradual development the child is able to tackle issues comfortably as he mature at certain ages. The reasoning if children may be unreasonable and void the reasoning of a teenager is more reasonable as he can capture information and give positive results on certain issues. The understanding in the human at any stage of childhood may be important to the person close to the child as positive results are noted in the development. It is what the child at the early stages of development that sticks on the child’s mind and try to hide growing to know that everything that is done is right. The environment of raising a child is important. The raising of a child in areas that are conducive is important. The growth of children mostly depends on what he sees and perceives. The growing of children in areas that crime are evident the child grows having trauma and disrupted minds as children may encounter scenes that have effects in the future and children at this position commit crime without human instincts. Approach to such behaviors support value the diversity to the child’s background and experiences, this is evident in communication to the families involved with challenging the challenges as early as possible in order to address the children behavioral needs at certain within the group settings (Anning, 2006, 98) Children growing in humble families and aspects such as religion tend to follow the upbringing until they develop to adulthood and this may encourage them to handle responsibility that no matter how hard they are. It is in such environments that the development of children is in a better shape compared to the opposite dimension of childhood manners. The growing child may turn to be faithful and virtues to understand one another and socialize well with one another. Mentorship that may assist the child to acquire skills and knowledge from his mentors or seniors would be appropriate as the child may express their wants and needs in ways that respect the rights and safety of other individuals. They may interact positively to individual and groups that they are close together. The mentor, parent or guardian may recognize the consequences of the behavior of the child. Parent interaction for a certain period may solve some issues in that children may be in a position to express their wants and needs in a way that they may respect the rights and safety of others. Children at a given age or gender may be in a position to interact positively, take care for themselves others and take care of their own environment. As children develop through monitoring the observation that can be made is that the child may be able to recognize the consequences of their behavior (Wodhead, 1991, 34) Children from different age groups may have different forms or characteristics after some observation. Children may have different traits .This may include having talents that the other gender may not be portray. It is evident that children from the feminine side are neat and the masculine may lack the characteristics in some in that it may be in them or is dominant to the female. It would be also evident that in some cases the male may be more in the machine or in the gadgets zone where the male counterparts may be in a position to play and like using of videogames while to females they may be less interested unlike the male. Technical ideas may be wale executed by the male as they are mostly in the male dominated. Young children tend to think that they are in the construction but they destroy anything they meet on their way such potential is noted when children grow especially the masculine gender may be in the habit of constructing of toys and other stuff. This may be in a way in allowing helping in enhancing creativity in children. The females may tend to be best in cooking and other female related activities. The gap between the children that grow up in wealthy families and children that grow up in poor families is inevitable. Children between these two social classes have some differences and similarities bearing in mind that they are human beings that should try to fit in the social life and compete with the others despite their differences. The upbringing of the children in either of the two backgrounds is that different characteristics being noted in the future between the two social groups. It is significant that with age children brought up in poor families start to study or read daily at the age of three. This may improve the study habits of children, as children who study frequently expose themselves to learning are in a better position to study. Whereas children brought up in rich families find it difficult to study as they are preoccupied by other activities examples being watching on television, going for swimming, playing of video games and many more that may not be available to the life of children brought up in poor families. Children brought up in poor families may end up liking their studies, as they are used to studying alike the rest of the children. Children growing up in poor backgrounds have different way in their way of thinking as they grow up this may be attributed to the fact that what they have is not enough as they try to find for means to survive alike the children brought up in wealthy families as everything is in their disposal and no need to strain. The opportunities in life may be strained and the child brought up in poor backgrounds may be well equipped to tackle the way of living even when the available resources are scarce. Most of the well brought up children may find it difficult and some may maneuver in life due to the availability of money and be able access better facilities that may assist them on their day-to-day lives. Children brought up at different social economical backgrounds may have some differences in that they may show different characteristics such as language. Most children that are brought up in poor backgrounds may find themselves not fluent in other languages as the exposure may not be available rand would only be conversant with their native language. Due to the availability of resources, children brought up in well doing families are able to access education of different languages and can speak fluently to other languages due to the exposure to different backgrounds. At early age, children in poor family backgrounds find themselves in a position of handling some of the responsibilities they cannot handle this come as the lack of basic need. This may lead to child labor and can cause the child growing while he is withdrawn from his fellow age mates. This being rampant in Africa children in these areas may tend to drop out of school and handle other responsibilities. Children brought up in wealthy families clear school at the right time and recommended time due to the availability of funds. Basing the argument on gender girls in poor families find themselves ending up in early marriages and this may cause the child to be exposed of adult responsibilities such as giving birth at early ages. It is this that children raise in poor backgrounds do not enjoy the childhood times which are vital to the child’s growth. It is directly opposite to the chances given to girl child of the rich who are not prone to these types of hardships of early pregnancies in that they are preoccupied with other important responsibilities. Children rose in wealth families are in position to enjoy better medical facilities, which help them enjoy services such as the insurance cover unlike the poor children who depend on government funding, sponsors who pay for their medical bills and pay for their drugs. The contrast between the two children may determine how the child grows in stress. Children in wealthy families might find it difficult to walk for long to find for better and cheaper medical services while on the other extreme the child condition might turn to critical conditions due to lack of transport facilities to access medical care. Children who are born and raised in wealthy families find them exposed to the availability of money and this may cause them exposed to drug abuse. This may cause to the dependency of hard drugs and substance usage. Use of expensive drugs such as cocaine, which are not available to the poor, causes more harm than cheap drugs which might be of low quality. This in a way challenges the life of a child as he grows and the child may drop out of school. Children in poor backgrounds may find themselves using substandard drugs examples being cheap liquor and cigarette smoking, which the effect is long term. Both children might have different thinking and might form groups of people of the same class. This may result to the thinking of a wealthy child to that of the poor is different as the child might be thinking of trips abroad while the child in poor background are all dreams. As the saying goes birds of the same feather flock together is evident while comparing the two. Children in wealthy families are able to interact well with those of their social status. It may evident that children may be well equipped with every equipment needed for study and may also have in excess this may be unlikely to happen to the other extreme where learning equipments might not even be enough this may lead to borrowing and can cause a separation between the two. Schools with extracurricular activities, which might require extra fee, may only be for the rich, this may create space between the two classes. This may alter how children socialize in school as they may not interact this may alter the school performance as the school is divided. Children in poor backgrounds may find it difficult to assist children in wealthy families, as they may not be in good terms this may reduce chances of healthy school discussion may be difficult to form. Children in wealthy families may struggle to study hard in order to be successful in life as there is no other choice but study and make their lives better in future. Children brought up in well doing families may see no need to work hard as there life is well planned; some may end up working in family business unlike the child who has to work hard and might end up jobless despite the qualifications (Bloom, 2004, 77) Interaction at the family level may be complicated at the well doing family as the parents are busy all day long busy with family business. If the other siblings go to work, they spend less time with their younger siblings. This may cause sibling rivalry, as the children might not understand each of their siblings likes and dislikes. Due to unemployment, children in poor families are more close to each other and understand each other well as they are together most of the time. The relationship between the parent and child is vital and issues especially at adolescent are well tackled by their parents. Children in well doing families are in better position to attend better schools with better learning facilities this include books being provided in school, swimming pool lessons, lunch and breakfast are provided in school some of the schools have aviation classes. Children who are less privileged study without the basic learning materials books are scarce, school may only provide lunch breaks which might not be enough to all children classes are small and this may cause congestion and classes are unbearable to study in. This may alter the performance of both students as some who face hardships find it hard to study while those with more than they can handle get to comfortable for studies. In Africa where poverty level is, high structures built are of low standards schools are built .Class room are affected by y rains ecological factors such as heavy rains that cause havoc and wash away classrooms due to lack of strong structures that might protect the children from the chilly conditions. Children are then forced to go home for a certain period and waste their academic time. While in developed countries condition of this kind are unheard off. This may hence cause non-standard form of education. In other areas, that finances are required such as research where students are required to source for information outside the school parameters it would be difficult for students to raise the fee required. This include visiting of areas such as game parks for tourism students this might also affect the students mentally and this means that the student might not be attentive in class. The most vital information that students need is practical is to boost the theory part of education. Children are fond of telling of how they enjoyed their time during their holiday and might the child who did not have the same opportunity (Bloom, 2004, 99) Children brought up from different backgrounds find themselves have different behaviors when it comes to the social side. Due to the secluded life that children in well doing families are not in a position to be social as they live lives that provides them with everything. It is evident that children of this social status try to reach to other children who may be of help to them and cannot be readily available. Children brought up by poor parents are social and are easily understood by those who are available as they can express themselves to a wide range of people. In school camps or debates, those who answer questions fluently are those who have the experience on a certain topic and exposure (Blakemore, 1991, 57) Use of the latest technology may assist in getting first hand information or even capturing history as it happen first hand. The availability of technology using tools for example, laptops, I pads, and mobile phones among many other helps students in doing of research or in studying storage of data and other important data that might need referring to later. It is a chance that every child student should have access. The child that is less privileged might not only have problems acquiring any of the gadgets but using them is a mystery to understand. This may be to the advantage of the wealthy as they can complete on how they perform their class work at their own convenience while the less privileged may delay due to the heavy workload. Chances in sporting activity may be available to some children as their respective backgrounds allow. Golf, bowling and gambling in casino are meant for the wealthy, as they need funds only a group of the wealthy. This may a slim chance for the poor to afford the kind of luxurious games and this may deny a chance to the talented poor children that languish in poverty. Children in poor families may have no idea of the existence of such games (Grieve, 1991, 79) Based on gender children may have different talents as they may be best suited for a given gender. This include games such as football, basketball, boxing and many others are games that are male dominated than the opposite sex who do fairly as they pay less attention or need energy to participate in such games. Different backgrounds determine greatly how the child is raised or the habits developed. The raising of children around ghettos has higher chances that the child is raised at difficult and harsh conditions that crime is part of such areas. This may influence in that the child might end up in crime related life such as selling of drugs being in position of firearms as such may be acceptable to their backgrounds but is illegal to other backgrounds. The executive homes are mainly located in areas that are quite environment atmosphere that may encourage development of creative thinking. Children brought up from wealthy families may find themselves in position that may assist them to develop talents and explore others better unlike children from the ghetto whose lack not only the facilities but also the peace of mind (Woodhead, 1991, 78) Leisure time is important for healthy growing and development not only for human beings but also for the development of children. Leisure time is enjoyed as well learning can take place in some activities of leisure. Watching of Television series and movies can be helpful to the child as he takes part in watching television series as ideas of life may be passed to the child some of this chances are well considered as luxury to people who have no means to acquire either of the machines (Blakore, 2005, 99) Responsibility in some of the children may be noted in children who are used to struggle when they are young while children raised from wealthy families find it hard to attend to simple responsibilities, which might be required to be done as employees who attend to them every day of their life do everything to them. Some characteristics and diseases are only found in the wealthy class this include obesity due to feeding of junk food. Children who have everything at their disposal find it difficult to exercise and disease related to diet may affect their lives. The less privileged find it hard for them to have enough of their daily ration and balanced food, due to lack of balanced food malnutrition disease mostly are related to the rise of poverty. Children being raised all have time and chance to make better and wise decision in order to secure a better future. References Anning, A 2006. Promoting Children’s Learning from Birth to Five.
