Vocational educational training can be defined as an education and training for work which is meant to give more and create more skills and knowledge to the learners and other professionals in their careers and is aimed at increasing the work product that will help them to get meaningful employment in career development and even career change.  Task skills are essential specific abilities that do perform tasks in any workforce. For instance, a hotel waiter being able to interact with clients and being able to get their requests correctly, and even configuring their clients’ database in the correct way.

Task management skills describe a person in the management of a number of different tasks that do constitute the same job. A practical example, in this case, is when reception is on the phone and perhaps, in particular, taking other orders while on the hand he or she is entering other statistical information in a computer database and consequently able to respond to other clients who could be coming in. Contingency management skills are skills that can be used to manage or respond to any disastrous occurrence in any working condition.

Job environment skills are a person’s ability to fulfill the organization's requirements and all the expectations. The content, the number, and the criteria of performance should not be reduced. Some specific industry terminology can be added to the performance criteria bearing in mind that it doesn’t affect the outcomes of the training objectives. In addition to this, a review of the units can be done to a range of information in the units whereas this should not reduce the breadth of the application of the competency that would tend to reduce its portability.

Also, other details can be added to the evidence guide in areas like the critical resources and infrastructure in which case it will expand the breadth of the training competency but should not limit it in any way.
