There must be a consensus between the parents and the school that that member of the meeting does not attend. This may be for the reason that their area of expertise will not be discussed in the meeting (Siegel, Lawrence M, 2011). Secondly even though the expertise of the member will be needed the member may be excluded from the meeting, but it has also to be in writing by the school and the parents. The member who is excluded from the meeting has to put it into writing that he is not going to attend the meeting, which is done prior to the meeting to ensure that there is a review of what to expect during the meeting.
I would recommend that the contract be renewed with conditions whereby I will ensure to follow up on the progress and see whether the performance is improving or that the member is still on the same position they were during evaluation.
