Extract of sample "Broad Perspective in the Engineering Classroom"

ENGINEERING ROOM Not everyone has what it takes for engineering. I have what it takes and can bring a broad perspective to the engineering classroom. Having a broad perspective like mine, would mean that one may think outside of the box. This type of thinking allows for a creative way to develop new ideas and improve existing ideas. These types of traits are important for any type of engineering activity. I am proud to posses these traits. Past experiences have allowed me to obtain skills in different areas.

I have worked with many different people in a customer service setting. I am very energetic and outgoing. This allows me to push through any difficulties that can arise in the class room. I also enjoy motivating others and like to keep myself motivated. Motivation can allow for a productive classroom. I have taken previous engineering classes that have taught me a lot about chemical engineering. I have also learned to use engineering tools safely. People come from different cultures and have different beliefs.

My experience working with others who are multicultural will enable me to respect others who are multicultural in an engineering classroom. I have a letter of recommendation from a machine-tool plant that proves my politeness and ability to work with others. I moved to the United States on my own, studied, and worked my way to where I am now. My goals, experiences, achievement and determination have proven me to be an asset to those I am surrounded by. I have a good heart that wants to help others.

Engineering is a passion of mine and like other achieved goals, entering an engineering classroom can help me be successful and accomplish more then I have imagined.
