Extract of sample "Raising Kids in Strict Family"

When any one of us did not obey, he had to bear the punishment. I remember never being appreciated for a good thing I ever did. Criticism always awaited us. I know that the aim of my parents behind this strictness was only to discipline us. They loved us a lot but the only thing that they did not know how to express love. For example, they wanted us to be independent due to which they would take us to bed on time and tell us to go to sleep in our rooms.

We did not know the discipline point in it and all we thought was that perhaps they did not want us to be with them. In short, I want to tell the reader that parents should be very friendly with children if they want them to share their problems with them. If they will be overly strict, then their children will be hesitant in expressing their feelings to them which results in a large communication gap in the long run.
