The use of mobile phone has increased immensely in the modern world, and the debate over whether the use of cell phones pose any health risks to the users, has refused to go away (Kesari et al., 187). With this debate continuing to be the basis of numerous recent studies, more…
h the exposure of electromagnetic fields (EMFs) to human and other organisms, which releases microwave energy that goes into the users hands and head (Szmigielski and Sobiczewska, 353).
The EMFs are scientifically known to affect and induce biochemical changes in plants. Further, the exposure to the microwave energy released by the cell phones right on the side of the head has raised concern of a possible change of health status for humans. Nevertheless, other studies have indicated that the levels of exposure to the microwaves are relatively low, such that they may not pose serious health risk to the cell phone users. The findings by the United States Government Accountability Office have concluded that the scientific studies undertaken so far have not shown any adverse effect of the exposure to the Radio-Frequency (RF) energy from the use of mobile phone (GAO, 1). Thus, the major question that arises is; does the use of cell phones pose any adverse health risks to the users?
The fact that cell phones emits Radio-Frequency (RF) energy, which is a form of electromagnetic radiation that can be absorbed by the tissues close to where the cell phone is placed is not in contention (LaBerge, 30). However, the point of dispute has been the level of the Radio-Frequency (RF) energy that is released, and its potential to influence the health of the user adversely. One theory has however been developed in regard to why the scientific studies undertaken that far have not been able to prove that there is adverse effects on human health associated with the use of cell phones. According to a scientist, Dr. Devra Davis, the major reason why such research has not been able to prove the relationship between mobile phone use and the development of cancer, is because the development of cancer takes an average of 10 years of mobile phone use to show (LaBerge, 30).
Furthermore scientists have observed that the amount of the Radio-Frequency (RF) energy released by a cell phone devise ...

Cell phones have revolutionized the world of communication; however it brought many dangers also to the world. Cell phone use while driving can cause accidents, deaths and injuries. The radiations from cell phones can affect the physical and mental health of the people who are using cell phones quite regularly.
This statement is indeed true as many researchers conducted are funded by the cell phones industries to eradicate the possibility of educating the users on the harmful effects of cell phones. The short term exposure to radiation is not harmful; however, a long- term exposure to it is very fatal.
It should be noted that even computers or internet are inferior to cell phones when it comes to instant communication. People keep cell phones in their pocket most of the times and therefore it is easy to locate or contact a person at any time. Some say that cell phones are linked to higher occurrences of cancer and other ailments, while other studies report that cell-phone users have no higher rate of cancer than the population as a whole.
Recent reports that Walsh discusses, however, alert the public that they should not be too complacent in using their cell phones. The fact is that when cell phones make and take calls, they produce low-level radio-frequency (RF) radiation. Walsh notes though that even when RF waves are stronger than FM radio signals, they remain “a billionth the intensity of known carcinogenic radiation like X-rays” (48).
Cell phones have been speculated to cause various health implication like the cause of cancer although the extent of damage of these cellular phones on human body as well as the duration that it takes for the health effects to be seen is not yet established (Burgess 5).
They come in different colors, shapes and sizes and have replaced the home phone as the primary way in which people keep in touch. They have totally transformed the ways we interact, relate, do business and keep in touch with one another.
However, there is overwhelming evidence to prove that indeed, mobile phones do not cause cancer. This paper seeks to prove that cell phones are safe for use and do not cause cancer.
Cell phones cannot cause cancer since the radio frequency they emit is weak
Cell phones are used by people from all professional sectors (education, business, medical, engineering and law) to talk, text, capture and share videos, images, files, gain Internet access and location based services, hold
