Improving writing skill from portfolio assignmentWriting is a process which can be always improved. Even if it is good, people can advance their writing techniques or experiment with new ones. During this course, I tried to improve my writing skill from one essay to the other. For instance, in the first essay, I did not include a separate concluding paragraph. After this experience, I focused on essay structure in my second and third essays. As a result, my writing became better organized and logical.

My second essay got positive feedback as well s the first one. However, It lacked details concerning the places I suggested to visit in course of the essay. I considered that comment seriously and included more examples in my third essay which is the best out of all three works. Examples are required in any written work because they make it engaging and interesting for reader. My second essay which lacked examples was too general. Examples picked for the third essay narrowed its perspective and made my writing clearer.

Moreover, it made the essay flow better and go from one point to other other smoothly. Overall, I worked hard to make my writing better. Work on these three essay proves that people need to think about their readers when they write something. It is relatively easy to express one's though in writing; however, it is difficult to make other people understand them. Working on structure and adding interesting examples to my essay, I improved their quality and made them more reader-friendly.
