The hobbit report

Bilbo stumbles upon a magical mysterious ring that helps him escape from Gollum by being invisible (Tolkein 65).
The group enters the Mirkwood forest without Gandalf the wizard. In the black forest Bilbo saves the dwarves from the giant spiders and dungeons of the wood-elves. As they approach the mountain the group are welcomed by human inhabitants who hope that the Dwarves an defeat the dragon (Tolkein 89).Bilbo with the help of a thrush who overheads Bilbo report on the dragons vulnerability, reports it to Bard the king who slays the dragon using an arrow.
The Dwarves take control of the lonely mountain; Bilbo finds the heirloom of the Thorin’s dynasty, an Arkenstone and hides it. The mountain is then attacked by Wood-elves and lake-men who demand compensation for their role in capturing the mountain (Tolkein 135).There is a battle (Battle of fives Armies) with results in Thorin getting fatally wounded but he manages to reconcile with Bilbo before dying. Bard the town defender is invited to witness the conquering of the dragon. Once the entrance is opened the dragon is furious and is breathing fire. Bilbo being very courageous observes the dragon’s amour and finds some vulnerability.
The Dragon walks away from the mountain and kills all the dwarves but Bilbo uses some magical enchantments learnt from the wizard to resurrect them. The ground is shaking as the ... Read More
