Obamacare Introduction Obamacare has greatly taken root in America. It incorporates all the citizens of the United States of America under certain regulations that the citizens have to fulfill before acquiring. This paper mainly discusses the meaning of Obamacare, and its future medicine impacts on the country. These two elements will guide the discussion including how Obamacarecame into existence and regulations behind it. What is Obamacare According to Kimberly Amadero, Obamacare refers to Patient Protection and Affordable Act of 2010 (Pipes 6). This word came about due to the president Obama’s efforts to make some reforms to health care. It is also America’s national health care plan created to improve the health care system of America. It focused on enabling all the Americans to access and afford health services, regulating the insurance of health care in the insurance industry, reducing expenditure in the health care sector and improving the quality of health care system. The incorporation and the signing of this act into the American law on March 23 2010 fully legalized the Act (Pipes 48). The Act benefits the Americans in many ways including setting up insurance market where the American citizens by federal regulated and subsidized insurance of health. The formation of Obamacare Obamacareresulted from merging ideas from both parties of the United States of America. The first attempt of presentation of the idea came from the opponents of the law, although president Obama incorporated it into the law. Obamacare is a modification of the Romney care, the health reform implemented in Massachusetts. The four facts included in the act include, first, it outlines many reforms to the insurance industry and the health care industry in order to subsidize the cost of health care and make medical insurance affordable. Secondly, it also helps the individuals unable to afford medical care and many Americans to have health insurance by January 2013 (Pipes 21). The Future of Medicine by Obamacare The ACA, Obamacare progresses to the future after overcoming the challenges in the congress, in the Supreme Court and in the last presidential election. People have hope for the evolution of the Act and have great determination for the success of the Act following the strategies set for 2013 and 2015, the dates for purchase of federally simulated insurance, and the deadline for offering insurance to small and large companies respectively (Pipes 74). The Act has already begun to implement its duties such as increasing health care, with the expansion of the Medicaid, children depending on their parents until the age of 26 and eradicating discrimination for patients with existing diseases. The Act is to change the health care in four dimensions relevant to Naturopathic medicine. The four dimensions include reduction of cost, reimbursement of health promotions and awareness activities, shift in primary care providers and lastly, non-discrimination and insurance of people. These trends relate well to Naturopathic medicine (Pipes 19). The government is fighting so hard to reduce the health costs by encouraging many citizens to purchase the health insurance, and by returning to capitation where companies give specific provider groups an amount of money to take care of some citizens. Therefore, this may need an increase of more Naturopathic physicians to cater for the people. Role of the Naturopathic Physicians Naturopathies physicians take very essential roles in the promoting the wellness of the programs. These activities reduce cost and at the same time recommended clinically (Pipes 33). The activities of the Naturopathic physicians have taken a level higher thus; they head corporate and wellness programs creating more job opportunities. More Naturopathic institutions hold incorporate the same principle of upholding promotion and wellness programs. Concerns of Obamacare The Act eliminates discrimination and especially discrimination against the practitioners who have the license. The main intention of the section 2706 of the Obamacare Act concerned the creation of unlimited access of patients who wished to get services from the Naturopathic physicians. This opened the way for the provider groups such as hospitals, health centers of the community and medical homes, inclusive of the Naturopathic physicians and their practitioners in particular (Pipes 17). However, this becomes a very good chance for the Naturopathic physicians and the practitioners to participate. Benefits of the Naturopathic Profession Naturopathies profession results to good economic levels that incorporate all people thus it is affordable for everyone (Pipes 11). The best approach for the team based should consider providing a place for the Naturopathic physicians giving more attention to those who collaborate and able to share ideas with other professionals for better management of patients. The licensing of the protection citing is interrupted in several and different ways in different states. Conclusion The time factor has been the main hindrance to the practice of Naturopathic medicine. The United States America stands united to account for their part in the Accountable Care Organization and they merge up with other countries to form health care organizations to improve in the field of healthcare. The United States of America have found motivation and determination to stabilize their health systems throughout the country, catering for all sorts of citizens, whether poor or rich, by the Obamacare. Naturopathies medicine exerts confidence in the eradication of many challenges concerning the health care system and affects health care at the same time. Work Cited Pipes, Sally.
