The last and final section deals with the conclusions arrived at after analyzing the findings of the work. As such, this research work is based on secondary research methods. In this regard, authoritative journals, authentic websites, and academic books have been consulted for realizing the objectives of this research.

The British Dyslexia Association has provided the following information regarding dyslexia. First, it is a hidden disability that affects a tenth of the population, with four percent being affected severely. Second, this disability is usually hereditary. Third, dyslexic students could juxtapose letters in words and transpose words in sentences at the time of reading. Fourth, dyslexic students could encounter difficulty in spelling words correctly at the time of writing. Fifth, dyslexia is not limited to literacy.

Sixth, this disorder influences the processing, storing, and retrieval of information; and issues of memory, speed of processing, time perception, organization, and sequencing are associated with it. Seventh, dyslexia can impact the navigation of routes and compass directions. According to the Australian Dyslexia Association, dyslexia does not constitute a disease. It is a Greek term that denotes difficulty with words (Australian Dyslexia Association Inc, 2014). Dyslexics, despite possessing the ability to learn, experience difficulty with spelling and reading.

People with this disorder learn in a different manner, in comparison with others. Several dyslexics have talented and productive minds, and they have a language learning disparity. As claimed by Duff, et al., Dyslexia is a genetic learning disorder that chiefly affects fluent and accurate word spelling and reading. In addition, it is a common developmental consequence of preschool language deficiency. A substantial amount of research has been conducted, with a view to improving the literacy skills of dyslexic children.

There is considerable evidence to establish that effective reading interventions include training in phoneme awareness and letter-sound knowledge, systematic and explicit phonics instruction, and the application of these skills to spelling and reading. Thus, reading is an intricate task, and it requires rapid coordination of linguistic, phonological, semantic, and visual processes. The scientific study of reading has been helped to a significant extent by computational models. These models facilitate analysis of the implications of specific conjectures related to the processes and representations underlying the development of reading skills. In addition, the neural network model provides explicit information regarding the implementation of such mechanisms in the brain.
