Some people in the American government were getting suspicious that the Japanese would attack them, Japanese felt that were running out time and soon the USA government would discover the attack they were planning. The nearest place for them to execute their attack plan was in the harbour. The Japanese army was in control of government resources and they wished that one day that they would conquer all of China. American was not being fair by trying to stop this from happening. What led to the increase in spending in Reagan`s spending 1987? Movies were used to conquer other parts of the world which were depicted America as bad people. The Chinese were the common subject in the films produced by the Japanese. They wanted to portray their good will towards the Chinese (Takaki 523). A movie with a Chinese officer being in love with a Japanese woman is an example. National policy films were produced depicting the Japanese soldier to be very strong. On the other side, they showed the enemy soldier suffering in the movies. False magazines were produced describing heroism on the Japanese and advice on the war. A magazine produced after the attack on Pearl Harbour described American of being selfish, egocentric and they wanted to rule the whole world. This made the Japanese realize that they needed to stay together in the war against their enemy. An association by the cartoonist was formed to encourage the spirit of war. They stirred up hatred and displayed their enemy from a negative perspective. Cartoonist also designed instructional paper. A book like ‘the war is won’ was published for the army making them feel that shall win at the end. Even the ministry of education published textbooks spreading propaganda. Textbooks were rewritten depicting Chinese kids as heroes Japanese figures. Education system in Japan emphasized that Japanese child is superior to other kids in the west (Takaki 605). Teachers were supposed to teach science combined with military science in schools. Students were taught that their fate was to be warriors of Japan. The student was shown films of their enemies. Radio programs were changed to report directly on war condition in china. Negro propaganda operations were introduced to intensify racial tensions in America. This propaganda wanted to cause disunity between black America and the white Americas. They tried to portray the Black American as a suffering race in America whose rights are never prioritized like for the White Americans (Takaki 666). Leaflets dropped in China questioned them why they were not well defended even after using a lot of cash. Leaflets were even dropped from planes in Malaya, the Philippines and Indonesia are asking them to give up the fight as the Europeans is not better than the Japanese.
