The terror attack on United States’ World Trade Centre and Pentagon has sparked to change the morale and lives of the citizens. The group of terrorist named al-Qaeda hijacked 4 airplanes which were used as suicide missiles. Two of the airplanes which were hijacked by al-Qaeda were crashed in to World Trade Centre in New York. The crashing of airplanes has created a massive explosion which leads to collapsing of the towers and buildings that were near to the World Trade Centre. Another hijacked airplane was crashed in to the Pentagon. Fourth airplanes was selected to crash on World Trade Centre, but was eventually due to problem in the retake lead to crash in to Pennsylvania. More than 2,753 people died in the World Trade Centre and more than 190 people died in Pentagon.Passengers in the airplanes were all dead. The terrorist member of al-Qaeda were all lead by Osama Bin Laden. The hatred of Osama Bin Laden was so strong which enabled to cause such a horrified attack on United States of America. The main cause of 9/11 was al-Qaeda. The anger towards the power and hegemony of United States has caused hatred among member of al-Qaeda which resulted in to the attack. Many theories such as Madrasas blaming young boys of Middle East who were taught to hate Americans, poverty in Middle East were evolved to define the cause of conspiracy but all are false. The main reason was the humiliation of Islamic world by Americans. Osama Bin Laden also revealed the humiliation of Islamic world for over 80 years which resulted in to the degradation of Islam. Islamic people were not pleased due to the fact that United States foreign Policies implemented in the Middle East. The united nation inspection was solely refused by Iran which resulted in to place sanction on Iran by United States. The sanction created hatred among the people of Iran as it leads to killing of innocent Iran people. Osama Bin Laden tired at all cost to withdraw United States troops from Saudi Arabia. The invasion of US and other troops in the Saudi Arabia was claimed by Osama Bin Laden as one of the worst disaster. It was regarded by Osama Bin Laden as the insult to the global Islam community and Islam birthplace after the alleged foreign troops in Saudi Arabia. The royal member of Saudi Arabia was in approval of presence of foreign and us troops in Arabian Peninsula and rejected all efforts by Osama Bin Laden. Eventually lead to expel of Osama Bin Laden from Saudi Arabia. This resulted in to the increase in hatred and anger on United States. The rise of Muslim Extremists is also another contributing factor and cause of 9/11. The huge number of soviet invasion of Afghanistan created increase in Muslim extremists. The conflict in Afghanistan was viewed as a cold war struggle and resulted in to the withdrawal of help from Soviets (Meisler 357). Later United States withdraw from Afghanistan and refused to help in construction. This resulted in more hatred and young Muslims flocked in Afghanistan to create war (Meisler 359). The effect of 9/11 towards United States of America and worldwide has been profound and adverse. The 9/11 attack has created an extensive affect financially and economically. The adverse impact of the attack was the closing of New York stock Exchange which affected one quarter of employees. For the whole week the New York stock Exchange was close. This drastically affected the increase in gas and oil prices. Theattack leads to the closure of trading of the NASDAQ. Online travel agency and homeland spending was affected. The attack caused the declination of the share prices of airlines. The economic markets of United States had seen drastic imbalance which lead to the largest amount of casualty claim. $25,000 amount have been paid to the families of the tragic attack (Hoag 18). It affected the airline companies to layoff and immediate shutdown. The result of terror attack has creates immense fear among the people who are daily passenger in airplanes and most people are reluctant to travel. US $5 billion have been paid to the victims of the terror attack and more than $20 billion have been paid for the clean-up process (Hoag 20). The attack created health problems for millions of people. The main effect of the 9/11 was traumatic stress. The destruction of World Trade Centre created toxic dusts which lead to the illness of 18,000 people. Discussion The impact of 9/11 attack has a huge adverse impact on United States of America. The tragic event opened the era of militarization, financial crisis, economic crisis and upheaval (Gerges 31). The soviet invasion on Afghanistan was the major cause of the attack. As it infuriated and angered the people of Afghanistan and member of al-Qaeda due to US hegemony which lead to the cause of terror attack on United States (Gerges 34). The member of al-Qaeda was responsible for the 9/11 attack. And the most astonishing fact is the way 19 people of al-Qaeda terrorized that entire United States by destroying parts of Pentagon and World Trade Centre (Gergers 35). The effect of 9//1 had a significant impact on the development of security in airlines. More actions were taken such as restricting the use of OEM luggage and lock in the bags which created more transparency and secured (Blum 384). New drug test has been implemented to check any suspicious material carried by passengers. This lead to the increase in national security and use of most advance technology is airline industry to make United Sates more secure than before. The attack might have caused the death of millions of people and lead to the declination in financial and economic sector but it eventually helped United States of America to be more secure than ever before. The militarization of the police forces was changed due to the adverse effect of attack. Police forces are armed and always ready for any suspicious activity. Employment in United Sates has been increased due to the raise of tourism. More people are now ready to join military and serve the nation. The effect of attack resulted in to the increase in expenditure in aviation industry to make it more secure and reliable. $9 billion dollar cost has been used to install advance security systems and Transportation security administration (Blum 469). The implementation of terror alert system enables to indicate the level of terror attack and safety of the people. The terror attack results in to the immediate instated of the USA Patriot Act (Dempsey 506). USA Patriot Act enables to increase the power of the police officers. This helped to strengthen the security of United States of America (Dempsey 508). Public policy created for the safety of the American people who experiences that their life is in danger. The 9/11 attack has created lot of changes in the public policies, aviation security, national security and general population. The destructive impact of the attack cannot be ignored but it resulted in to the implementation of advance technology and increase in security to nullify the flaws and safety concerns that was caused due to the terror attack (Blum 251). Certain rules were adopted during the boarding of passenger to make aviation industry more secure. Increase in cultural awareness and national unity were two policies implemented by USA which helped America to be more secure and united. Conclusion The despicable act of the terrorist act by al-Qaeda caused thousands of innocent people to dead. The terrorist attack by 19 member of al-Qaeda created a horrified and disastrous impact on the economy and financial policy of United States of America. The attack on 9/11 created an immense impact and lead to enormous changes in the general population, rules in aviation industry and security of America. The tragic incident on 9/11 is undoubtedly the fearful day in the history of America. The human loss if the attack is immeasurable which led to the death of thousands of friends and families. But it leads to the immediate response from American Government by total transformation of American lifestyle and safety concerns. Sympathy of aftermath of terror attack might have faded out but the impact of the early fall day is still felt by America. Works Cited Blum, William.
