It makes their behaviors seem repetitive or have similar patterns to those that were demonstrated by those who lived in previous ages. This survey attempts to outline some behaviors that reveal that human nature is fixed.

Some behaviors among human beings reveal that human nature is fixed. Some human practices like worship and religious activities have continued for many years. The desire for power and wealth among men has been constant for many ages. Men desire to be recognized and to have massive wealth as a source of power and acknowledgment. This is said to be the cause of war, deception, murder, and other undesirable behaviors that have been repeated over the years. Thucydides also claims that humans are weaker to lead but stronger to rule which is true till today (Reinhold, 46).

In conclusion, Thucydides claims that humans are static and fixed and that their behaviors seem to be repetitive. This claim is valid as there are certain behaviors that human beings have demonstrated for many years and they still practice them. The desire for power and wealth is one of the behaviors that have stood the test of time.
