The different data collection techniques one can use within a research project include; focus groups case study analysis, open-ended questions and semi-structured interviews. This chapter illustrates relationships of the different qualitative data Collection analysis concepts in which the results of the concept mapping would present a network diagram in which the relationships among the set of methods are covered. In qualitative research, concept mapping is majorly used in both data collection and analysis processes (Polonsky and David 56).

The concept mapping of the process of qualitative data collection and analysis is presented as follows:Data collection –involves conducting semi-structured interviews using open-ended questions and transcribing the information collected. Reducing data-this involves categorizing data into different for easier analysis. The processes done include coding, categorizing among others.Analysis- involves the use of a case study to analyze a single unit. It provides the researcher with the benefit of hindsight, which ensures effective analysis.

Presentation of information into form like graphs, tables, and charts that can easily be examined, compared and deductive inferences made out of it.Reporting-this is the process of giving the findings of the research to the relevant partners. This involves showing the outcomes of the whole research findings and the conclusions derived from the facts found.
