Requirements to run this application A computer with input devices such mice and keyboards Microsoft operating system Microsoft office suite with MS Excel including Using the application Download a copy of the application onto your computer making sure MS office suite (MS office 2010 or latest) is installed Open the application. This can be achieved in two ways. I. Double clicking on the application using the left mouse key will open the application. II. Secondly, the application can be opened by right clicking on the application and choosing open from the popup menu. The above operations makes the application to open out in MS excel. At first operation, the application will not start in excel. This is because by default, the macros in excel are deactivated to protect the system thus you need to authorize the system to allow the running of this process. Macros can be activated from the view tab and choosing view macros from the macros drop down menu. When this application is first run on your computer i.e. after opening it for the first time, a pop up message will appear on the top left corner of the Spreadsheet prompting you to enable macros. This is the simplest way to enable macros as you just have to click on the enable macros and the application starts. Inputting data into excel using the application After the application starts, you will be prompted with a user form resembling the image below The fields in the user form contains text boxes, comb boxes, check boxes and command buttons It is mandatory to fill all the fields since failure to so will result in an error. Fill the data as below First name field - Enter first name, Last name Field – Enter the last name In the work type, choose one from the dropdown menu In the date column, enter the date in the form DD/MM/YYYY Enter the amount for the work and check the checkbox if the money has been paid. In the terms of payment and delivery fields, choose the appropriate data from the dropdown menu. After the form has been completely filled, cross check to eliminate any errors. If there exists any errors, you can clear the form to start again, or click on submit to write the data into the spreadsheet. After submitting the data, there is an option to close the application or if you want a hardcopy of the data, you can directly click on the print button to send the document to your default printer. The screen shots below shows an example on how to use the application.
