This paper will provide relevant, vital, and empirical information and data required to give accurate and potential information for starting a new satellite institution in Southern California. The two locations that were identified and outlined as the potential areas for reinstating a new satellite campus are San Diego Main Campus Presidio Hill CA 85282 Fontana campus CA 92335 Green Valley San Diego and Tucson regions are the potential places where the institutions can be sited. There locations are listed above. In my opinion, the two regions are the best area for the project regarding the data and information gathered from the analysis conducted. Various academic and published materials were outlined so as to give a profound and comprehensive back up as to why the areas are the most suitable. The areas have been selected in a way that it harmonizes and acknowledge the challenges, recognize opportunities, identify issues, and recommends solutions for all the students located in Southern California to achieve their education goals. The areas hold the potential of meeting the requirements of the satellite institutions. 2. As illustrated and outlined by the data and information in the BAO report, the areas are economically viable. The area is one of the largest and complex urban regions. It has a high population with a potential of culminating demographic transformation. The past, current, and future generations have been inferred to equal opportunities through fair distribution of natural resources. The ultimate problem is the structure and design of accessing the opportunities. According to the BOA reports, the areas are urban and good fields for business. The area is densely populated since individuals from across the globe inhabited the place in search for direct opportunities (Hass, 2011). The new satellite institution should be structured in the areas so as to allow the poor students to access education. Poor students with the ability to multitask can work and go for part-time lectures. This is if the institution will be situated in the region. Individuals who hail from the region with the desire of continuing and accessing higher education will also have the opportunity (David, 2009). The region is economically viable since individuals can have a source of living and funds for paying school fees. Putting up a satellite institution at this place will shape and transform the majority of the next generation of workers and students. The school will not only provide education but equip the individuals hailing from that region with life skills for nurturing the areas human capital required for attend to its changing and transforming needs. 3. The demographic data and information source proves that the area is viable and potential for the project. The area is densely populated with approximately 214 individuals per square mile. The area was elaborated and defined by tapestry segmentation. This methodology brings out the clear picture of how the region is segmented bring relevant prove that the place is suitable for the project. Selecting the right and actual place or location is the most essential decision. The segments lay out the real reasons for selecting the regions (Cody, 2010). Employment, housing characteristics, marital status, seasonal status, age, sex, and education are the ultimate segmentations that comprehend the demography of the region. Employment: As illustrated and outlined by the data in this BOA report, the areas’ youth have a significantly higher level of poverty rates than the adults. This proves that a multitude of future workers and employees will grow up in the line of poverty. Poverty limits access education and good schools. Individuals are unable to stop working to go to school. Constructing a campus in the areas will assist in enhancing multitasking. Students will be able to work to get funds for attending part-time education system (Hass, 2011). This will in turn bring stability in the region. Marital status: 56% of individuals living in these areas are adults, while most of them are married. They might be having the desire to enroll in higher education but distance will hinder them from handling family obligation. The new satellite institution will assist them have part time education system. The institution will be closer to them. Education: Various education features have been represented in the areas. San Diego region is well equipped with river road public library with branches at La Sierra, Marcy, Arlington, and Casa Blanca. This is an essential tool that characterizes the need of having an education providing institution. Availability of basic public resources such as hospitals, water and electricity is an essential feature. 4. The growth potential for a satellite campus in the areas above is high. The demographic and economic settings depict a higher possibility that the area is suitable for the campus. The situated satellite campus area has a population that includes more of employees and young individuals who find it hard to access education. The ethic group is diverse. This is because it consists of individuals who culminate from various cultural norms. Examples are Americans, Black Americans, and Asians. The potential of the growth preferences directly relates to consumer demographic characteristics and features. Education levels is an essential factor or element that figure into the socio-economic status of the selected areas. This is because income of an area increases with advancing educational achievement and attainment. Constructing satellite campus in the areas will be a vibrant idea that will grow the economic condition of the area. This is because individuals who hail from the campus vicinity will be equipped with adequate knowledge and skills for conducting various businesses and improving their living standards. The selected targeted areas for the satellite campus have been selected in a way that it satisfies a wide range of the needs of the individuals and the aim of the project. The groups are targeted and identified using a similar interest element. The areas were selected in regards to the need for accessing education without hardship and hindrance (Hass, 2011). The area was identified because of the lifestyle of the people from the area, demography, and ability or potential of growth. The area suits and satisfies all the requirements for vibrant growth. Satellite campus has a growth potential. It is considered to play a role of fundamental significance in the economy at large. They are major and essential contributors to the strengthening and enhancement of the economy. As the level of education increase in the area over the years, individuals will expand their reasoning capacity. The level of penetration of education impacts on the larger economy. It tends to provide employment and opportunities in the lower end of the economic chains. It stimulates economic growth through expanding their area of operation and providing employment to individuals. The selected areas tend to provide up-to-date data and information concerning the design and structure of the future economy of Southern California. The areas’ economy is estimated and predicted as an economy that is based on education through construction of satellite campus (Cody, 2010). The Tucson economy greatly depends on education to boost and propels their economy towards success. Government policy and rules of implementing, developing, and distributing innovations gives a detailed support to new initiatives such as construction of new satellite campuses so as to boost education level. Education has been considered to be of fundamental significance in improving the economic doldrums.
