Below is a visual representation of the growth of Cloud Computing in recent years.

Market analysis and research firm referred to as IDC suggested that the previous market for Cloud Computing services stood at $16 billion in 2008 and will rise to approximately $ 42 billion yearly come 2012.

It is estimated that the advantages of Cloud Computing compared to its cost are likely to be three to five times for business applications and more than five times for consumer applications. Gartner’s press release dated June 2008, suggested that Cloud Computing will be “no less influential than e-business” (Gartner, 2008)
According to perception, the research provides valuable insight into the numerous benefits of Cloud Computing which would create a better understanding of the weaknesses of their competitors in the global market.

However, it is prudent and obvious to note that numerous benefits associated with Cloud computing improved flexibility and scalability hence reducing production costs which are quite attractive in business. In addition to that, there is still more to be desired to enhance interest in Cloud Computing which is meant to turn the business perception that people have to physically attend to their businesses to achieve a milestone. Many of the risks associated with solutions to common problems hindering the business industry and global development lik, like security, legal issues, and vendor lock-in are still under review without regulations and standardization across Cloud Computing providers.
