If the patient asks for mercy killing then he/she could easily go through this process by having a particular drug.The study proves that today the process of euthanasia is not painful at all for the patients. The suffering patients can easily be set free by their physicians. No patient needs to tolerate the painful and helpless life in hospitals for long. Every person in this world has total freedom to live and spend their lives as they desire. Therefore the physician and the patient’s family should act upon the mercy killing desire. Assisting killing should be set legal by the law.If we talk from the view of physician assisted suicide, the physician has no other choice if a patient asks for euthanasia. This euthanasia is to be categorize under two terms by the physician; voluntary and involuntary active euthanasia. In voluntary the patient is fully informed and given the medication to cause death, intentionally. Involuntary is without a patient’s explicit request. There are some doctors who suggest physician assisted death as compassionate reflectionfor mankind. These doctors say that when one desires to die then this should be taken seriously. There are some cases in which the doctor himself suggests for assisted suicide, knowing that there wouldn’t be any treatment to save the patient. Oregon is the only State which favors and has legalized the physician assisted suicide. Even some doctors encouraged euthanasia. The physician job is to fully evaluate the case in which a patient asks for euthanasia, and such requests are taken seriously. There are six steps which needs to be taken under consideration by the physician; clarifying the euthanasia request asked by the patient, assessing and underlying the causes of the request, confirmation of the commitment by the physician to take care of the patient, studying the radical causes of euthanasia asked, educate the patient with legal and illegal terms of euthanasia and consultation with the colleagues. It has been also found that both the patient and physician feel destructed and out of sight dealing with critical cases. The patient itself wants to get rid of the situation and the pain, on the other hand even the physician find it difficult to cope with patient’s medical care & treatment. The study has shown that the patients demanding for euthanasia must be carefully taken under all the legal laws by the physician. Relevance The study in favor of euthanasia has proved both legally and on patient’s desire, that euthanasia is the right thing to do in certain criteria. This has shown me that some people highly give the favor to mercy killing because they see it with different angle. Some take it in highly sympathetic mode on behalf of their loved ones, whom they couldn’t and don’t want to see struggling with life and death.There are patients in every second hospital who might be admitted in there since 1-2 years, living on ventilators. If such patient asks for mercy killing with their own individual decisions then they should be released. The study and surrounding survey has shown me that doctors also believesthat the patents living on ventilators from years should be granted mercy killing with their own individual decisions, because they occupies extra space & bed which could be used for other patients who in comparison have got plenty time to live. It would be silly to spend money, medications & all the precious resources on a person who willingly doesn’t want to live. Even the connected people with the patient’s family agreed to this belief that all such resources could be kept save for the needy ones.The money could be invested for future betterment, rather than spending on the ailing one. If a patient is not in position to tolerate pain and denies itself to bear this pain, then being human we don’t have rights to make someone suffer forcefully. We should be generous to others, we should take their pain as our pain, their struggle our struggle, and then we should measure assisted killing on that scale. When a person suffers any kind of illness tiny or big, he/she looks upon the doctor with the surety that he/she would make them well again. Doctors are formed to save the lives not to take the lives. If a patient is suffering from illness like cancer, and cannot be cured further. Then the doctors should do their best to provide them with effective medical treatment until the patient’s body has potential & caliber to deal with it. The doctors opposed euthanasia in terms of religion in England and Wales. It has been seen in UK, on the basis of survey that the doctors tried to change the law of not legalizing the assisted suicide. Relevance The survey carried out by doctors in England, Wales and UK clarified that euthanasia is denied by most of the doctors. Doctors aren’t allowing bringing the change in the law. This study has also shown me that it makes no sense that if a patient occupies a bed in the hospital, so it allows mankind to fulfill his/her desire and let him/her die. Such patients could be treated at home or in special hospices. Letting them die according to their desire isn’t the solution. It would be as similar to murdering them intentionally. It shows that we are not good enough to take care of our loved ones. It shows the brutal side of mankind. Treating the ill patients because they are near to death is waste of money, time and resources, so they should be put into mercy killing, where it is written to adopt such act legally/religiously. However if a patient is in sedation, yet he/she would have the desire to live a healthy and normal life again as we are living. They could be carrying some hope with them to get out of the hospital on their own feet. If the improved medication and treatment wouldn’t help, then let the life of that person end by its own.There is no sense of supporting and making them to exercise assisting suicide.
