Besides, this section will introduce the conceptual framework that will guide the essay, this includes a brief description of the changes exemplified in the child welfare and parental involvement section. In addition, the introduction will define key terms that include children’s rights, child welfare, and parental responsibilities dynamics1. The primary goal of the introduction will be a thesis statement, notably many legal experts have argued that the new Children and Family Act 2014 Section 11 provides greater protection to children in modern times.

This section will provide a comprehensive overview of Section 11 that does a critical focus on relevant child protection issues2. Children and Family Act (2014) Section 11 states that children are vital components in any family set up and should be protected, nurtured, and loved3. In addition, Arnold (2014) argues that the section is a clear guarantee of child protection through parental involvement. The paper will examine the application of the laws in various applications of family justice principles.

Some analysts have argued that the section will lead to a swifter system that put the child’s interest first (Blackmore & Thomas). Discussion of the family justice system will be examined in line with the section provided on adoption and foster children4. Franklin (2006) believes that a society that has street children has failed in safeguarding moral and social responsibility. Hence, the focus will also examine the moral and social perspective of the Act. Additionally, the work will examine strengths that have been put forward by the proponents.

Boyden & Hudson (2005) suggested a need for children right’s reform to focus on the creation of laws that cushion the child welfare (Davis 2014). Moreover, this section will examine the views of proponents and a comprehensive discussion on the foster parent’s role in children protection.
