The author further points out that the internet has provided a way in that the society conveys information that supports violence (Morozov, 2011). In analysis of the social media networks, Morozov (2011) is of the assumption that the mode of communication has provided a freedom of communication that allows abuse and violation of the right. In most countries, there are no regulation policies created to curb hare speech in social media networks. This has created a trend that enables the society to convey any form of information based on either personal or collective opinions.

However, one may point out the freedom of speech is a quality that has increased the way in which the society is provided with information. Consequently, one may embrace the argument that the freedom of information in the internet has created a careless community in regards to information selection. The society tends to embrace information that creates great significance influence regardless of its appropriateness. Morozov (2011) also highlights nature of the media conveyed by the internet. The author is also of the assumption that the level of mediated violence has increased significantly.

The influence of mediate violence on the society has been termed as brutal. The society tends to emulate the content provided to them regardless of its appropriateness. In addition, the internet provides a tool that enables people to convey violated the content they access to the rest of the society. This develops the chain of conveyance of negative information. The arguments presented justify the argument that the intern is not an effective tool to influence harmony and tolerance. ReferenceMorozov, E. (2011). The Net Delusion.
